Discover undervalued wonderkids and hidden gems you can sign for cheap in
FM24 and sell for a massive return
Tired of Budget Struggles? Try This.
You know the drill. It’s Season One, your board gave you a pathetic transfer budget, and your scouts are returning reports on 33-year-olds with dodgy knees. But here’s the twist — what if you could sign a handful of young, undervalued talents for dirt cheap, play or loan them out for a season or two, and then sell them for five or even ten times what you paid?
That’s exactly what I did in my FM24 save, and let me tell you — the results were beautiful. After flipping a few of these lads, I suddenly had enough cash to finally bid for that wonderkid striker from Brazil I'd been eyeing since day one.
So, whether you’re managing a Championship club, a second-tier side in Spain, or just trying to survive in Serie B, these 9 players are prime flipping material. Let’s get into it.
1. Charlie Hughes (Wigan)
- Position: Centre-Back
- Age: 19
- Asking Price: ~£2.2M
Charlie is your classic ball-playing centre-back with great mental attributes for his age. What makes him shine? That "Very Strong" right foot, combined with solid tackling, positioning, and bravery. He's already a leader at Wigan and develops into a reliable top-league starter. For just over £2M, you’ll find clubs offering 3–4x that once he proves himself in a tougher league.
2. José Salinas (Elche)
- Position: Left-Back / Wing-Back
- Age: 22
- Asking Price: ~£750K
A complete wing-back for under a million? Yes, please. Salinas is fast, technically sound, and comfortable pushing high up the pitch. His determination and work rate mean he’s coachable, and his stats are already second-tier starter quality. After one good season in a visible league, he's easily flippable for 3–5x.
3. Luka Topalović (Domžale)
- Position: AMC / CM
- Age: 17
- Asking Price: ~£700K
This Slovenian teenager is a star in the making. Already has good flair, technique, and long shots at 17, and he’s physically developed too. One of those rare players from obscure leagues that flies under the radar. Develop him with game time and he’ll explode in value.
4. Óscar Perea (Atlético Nacional)
- Position: LW / AM / ST
- Age: 17
- Asking Price: ~£2M
Perea is the definition of explosive. 15 acceleration, 14 agility, 15 pace — and he’s only 17. His versatility across the frontline makes him deadly off the bench or as a starter against weaker sides. A Colombian wonder with a ceiling that top European clubs will pay big for.
5. Sinclair Armstrong (QPR)
- Position: ST / AMR / AML
- Age: 20
- Asking Price: ~£1.2M
Armstrong is a bulldozer. He’s fast, strong, determined — and always a handful for defenders. At QPR, he’s already making noise. With some finishing and composure training, he turns into a physical monster. You’ll sell him to a Premier League club in no time.
6. Tobias Slotsager (Odense BK)
- Position: Centre-Back
- Age: 17
- Asking Price: ~£4.5M
Okay, this one’s a bit more expensive — but the potential is outrageous. Good jumping, strength, tackling, and very well-rounded mentals for someone who just got their driving license. Denmark consistently produces elite CBs, and Tobias is next in line.
7. Vicente Pizarro (Colo Colo)
- Position: DM / CM
- Age: 20
- Asking Price: ~£2.9M
A "Model Citizen" personality? Yes. Elite mentals? Double yes. Pizarro is a pass-master with stamina for days. For a deep-lying playmaker or Carrilero, you won’t find better value under £3M. South Americans always attract bids once they step into Europe.
8. Yacine Titraoui (Paradou AC)
- Position: CM / AM
- Age: 19
- Asking Price: ~£155K (!!)
This is daylight robbery. Great technique, passing, vision, and mental stats — all for under £200K. Algeria produces technicians, and Titraoui fits the mould. You’ll never lose money on this lad. Give him minutes, and clubs will come knocking.
9. Jofré Carreras (Espanyol)
- Position: Winger (Right)
- Age: 22
- Asking Price: ~£1.1M
Tricky dribbler with lightning pace and solid end product. Carreras might be the least hyped name here, but he delivers. Give him space and he'll roast full-backs. Perfect for flipping to a top-flight team needing Spanish-trained players.
Final Whistle: How to Flip Smart
If you want to turn these signings into big sales, give them visibility. That means first-team minutes, loans to high-rep clubs, and strong media performances. Slap a 50% next sale clause on top for long-term cash-ins. And remember — timing is everything. Don’t get greedy.
