FM26 Best Bargain Players - Top Value Under £10m Shortlist

FM26 bargain players under £10m - CA 130+ and max age 32. Live search, EU chips, price bands and copy-to-clipboard for fast scouting.
FM26 best bargains shortlist with ability ratings, positions and prices

Improve your squad without spending your entire budget. Compare FM26 bargain players aged 32 or younger with a listed Database value of £10 million or less, organised by position, current ability and cost. Search by player, club or nationality, then open the linked Database profiles to check their full attributes before building your transfer plans.

How we select the best bargains in FM26

The original shortlist selected players aged up to 32, valued at £10 million or less, with an in-game current ability of at least 130. We checked those names against the FM Blog Database. The main tables include confirmed matches that still meet the age and value limits, with FMB Ability and FMB Potential on our 1–99 scale. FMB ratings are different from raw in-game CA and PA.

The same ratings as FM Blog Database

ABI is FMB Ability: current quality. POT is FMB Potential: the player's ceiling. Both use our 1–99 scale, with the same colours throughout the Database.

Elite90–99 Excellent80–89 Strong70–79 Useful60–69 Depth1–59

These are FMB ratings, not raw in-game CA or PA. Potential does not guarantee development. How the rating model works →

Included players remain in their original position groups. Ratings, club, age, wage and value use the linked Database records. Players above the limit or without a confirmed value or identity are listed separately below the tables. Club names and player names link to full profiles. Values are in pounds and are not guaranteed asking prices. Free agents can appear at £0; a recorded wage is not a promise of the salary they will accept.

Search also includes the additional nationalities and club names from the original shortlist. The EU filter keeps the original list's EU tags; it is not a work-permit or home-grown check for your save.

FM26 Best Bargains - FAQ

What makes a player an FM26 bargain here?
The source shortlist used in-game current ability of at least 130, an age limit of 32 and a value limit of GBP 10 million. The main tables retain confirmed players from that list who meet the Database age and value limits. Use the full profile to decide whether their strengths suit your tactic.
Why are there fewer players than in the original shortlist?
Database clubs, ages and values can differ from the original article. The main tables include only verified players aged up to 32 with a listed value of GBP 10 million or less. Original entries outside those limits, without a listed sale value or without a confirmed match are preserved in the separate review list below.
What do ABI, POT and the colours mean?
ABI is FMB Ability and POT is FMB Potential, both on a 1-99 scale rather than raw in-game CA or PA. Purple means Elite (90-99), blue Excellent (80-89), teal Strong (70-79), gold Useful (60-69) and slate Depth (1-59). Every badge shows its number as well as a colour.
How do the price bands work?
The five bands are under GBP 1m, GBP 1m to under 2.5m, GBP 2.5m to under 5m, GBP 5m to under 7.5m, and GBP 7.5m to 10m inclusive. They use numerical Database values, so each player belongs to one band. Missing values are never treated as zero.
Is the listed value the fee I will pay?
No. Value is a comparison point, not a guaranteed asking price. Check the club response and scouting report in your save. Agent fees, signing bonuses, instalments and future clauses can change the total commitment.
How do search, age and EU filters work together?
Search a player, club or nationality, choose a value band, lower the maximum age and select an EU tag if needed. Each filter narrows the existing result. Reset clears the filters and restores all confirmed bargains up to age 32 and GBP 10 million.
What does the EU tag tell me?
EU and Non-EU preserve the tags in the supplied shortlist. They are not a guarantee of work-permit, registration or home-grown eligibility. Check the competition rules and scouting report in your own save before signing.
Why can a nationality search return a different flag?
The flag shows the primary nationality in the Database. Search also includes additional nationalities from the original shortlist. A player with a secondary nationality can therefore match your search while displaying a different flag.
Why have some clubs and values changed?
Verified rows use the same records as the linked Database profiles. The original club names are also searchable. The list is built into this article rather than refreshed on every visit; open the profile when you want to check its latest information.
Why does the same player appear at several positions?
The original article placed versatile players in multiple position groups, and those groups are retained for included players. The position badge shows the Database positions. Judge suitability from the full profile instead of assuming every editorial group is an equally strong role.
Can I sort every column and copy a player name?
Yes. Select a data column heading to sort and select it again to reverse the direction. The initial order is highest FMB Ability first. The mobile sort menu provides the same choices. Copy preserves the accents in the player name; if clipboard access is blocked, the name is selected for manual copying.
Why are there free agents among the bargains?
A verified player with no club may have a listed value of GBP 0 and fall into the lowest value band. No transfer fee does not mean no cost: check salary demands, signing-on fees and agent fees. A stored wage of zero is not a future wage offer.
Should I prioritise Ability or Potential on a small budget?
Use Ability to compare current quality and Potential as context for the player ceiling. Younger players still need playing time, suitable training and the right role. Compare wages and the complete profile before deciding whether immediate impact or longer-term development is more useful.
How does this shortlist work on mobile?
Tables can scroll horizontally, and the mobile sort menu keeps each data column sortable. Player and club links open the Database profiles. Search follows the table area when there is enough screen space, and the Info button holds the longer instructions.
