I bought a new Intel 12900K CPU (arguably the fastest consumer-grade CPU to play FM22). And I thought I'd take the opportunity to sim into the YEAR 2500 unemployed with the top 5 European leagues as playable, 50000+ player database.

Here are some noteworthy milestones and screenshots from the year 2500.

GAME NOTES

- My save file size is 3.3GB.
- Time it took to sim to the year 2500 with the top 5 European leagues playable: 27 days.
- Due to an FM bug, Shane Long retires as a Southampton player at age 144, year 2131. He makes a single appearance at age 77 years 2063, actually scoring a goal! Becoming the oldest player to make an appearance and score in the English league system.

- Due to an FM bug, Gaston Pereiro (Uruguay) is still an active Paris FC player at age 505. He still consistently makes appearances, goals, and assists, despite having stamina of 1.

WORLD CUP WINNERS and noteworthy events

- Germany wins in 2022.
- New World Cup winners: USA (2038), Chile (2286), Czech Rep (2362, 2370), Ireland (2162), Portugal (2030, 2142), Scotland (2110, 2302), Serbia (2042, 2058), Belgium (2026, 2034, 2054)
- Noteworthy Finalists but did not win: Iceland, Wales.
- England beats Scotland in the Final, the year 2046.
- No African/Asian/Oceanic winners or finalists.

FALL OF THE GIANTS

- Real Madrid is no longer in FM and currently exists below the 6th division. Their last appearance in La Liga is in the year 2151, followed by 300+ years of lower-division football. At one point, they were multi-trillion dollars in debt.

- Manchester City suffers a similar fate. National League North since the year 2313.

- Dortmund suffers a similar fate. Regionaliga since year 2229.
- AS  Roma suffers a similar fate. Serie C & D since the year 2268.

- Shane Long is 114 years old and still playing professional football for Southampton. Due to an FM bug, he's been waiting for his transfer to Orlando since January 1900...
- C. Ronaldo's international record gets beaten (Mbappe 141 goals for France, Moukoko 126 goals for Germany, Adeyemi 122 goals for Germany, Haaland 121 goals for Norway).
- Neymar moves to Juventus in 2027 and retires there but makes 0 appearances. 
- Haaland moves to PSG in 2024 and sees out the rest of his career there.
- Mbappe moves to Barcelona in 2022 and sees out the rest of his career there.
- Pulisic moves to AS Roma in 2025, then to Dynamo Kyiv in 2031.
- Sancho moves to Newcastle in 2031.
- Pedri/Foden/TrentAA become one-club-legends.
- Inflation never happens. Neymar's €222 was never beat, but a few came close. Havertz €207 (Chelsea --> Bayern 2028). Musiala €203 (Bayern --> Liverpool 2025), Yeremy Pino €194 (Villarreal --> ManC 2026)
