In this set of articles, we will be looking at the potential best 100 wonderkids in FM22. Part 8 of 10.

Wonderkids are one of the most important aspects of Football Manager games over the years. The prospect of identifying and managing the "next big thing" in world football is like an addiction to most FM22 managers.

Many of these players are already considered generational talents. They are well known in the footballing circuit, while others may not be as popular but can be just as good in the future. These articles will split the youngsters into batches of 10 and give a brief description of the wonderkid so that managers can keep an eye out for them when FM22 releases.

Continuing from our previous article, we look at the list of the next 10 potential wonderkids in FM22 who could add value to squads.

1. Adam Stejskal

Adam Stejskal is a Czech footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Liefering (a section/feeder club of RB Salzburg) in the Austrian 2nd division. On the back of some impressive performances in 2021, Stejskal could see a good increase in attributes in FM22. Wonderkid goalkeepers are usually harder to find, and Stejskal might just be the ideal candidate to fill that category in FM22.

2. Julian Aude

Julian Aude is an Argentine wonderkid who plays as a left full-back for Lanus in the Argentine league. Aude was part of the Argentine squad that won the 2019 U-17 South American championship. After injuries set him back in 2020, Aude is back on the radar of several clubs after a decent 2021. With a potential boost in attributes, Aude could be a full-back to watch out for in Football Manager 2022.

3. Jakub Kaminski

Jakub Kaminski is a Polish wonderkid who plays as a winger for Lech Poznan in the first division of Polish football. Kaminski's potential is highly regarded in Poland, and he has recently made his senior debut for Poland. He has also played in every junior level for the country, excelling in each of them. Kaminski is a versatile winger who can play on the left or right-wing. An increase in reputation combined with more consistent performances in 2021 could see Kaminski given a boost in current/potential ability in FM 2022 and can be a hidden gem to uncover.

4. Stefan Baiaram

Stefan Baiaram is a Romanian footballer who plays as a winger for Craiova in the first tier of Romanian football. Bairam is a versatile winger capable of playing on the left or right side of the pitch. He is a youth international with Romania and, on the back of some impressive performances in 2021, could see a hike in attributes in FM 22.

5. Christos Tzolis

Christos Tzolis is a young Greek footballer who plays as a striker for Norwich in the English Premier League. Tzolis is a Greek international who recently moved to Norwich from PAOK. Tzolis had an explosive debut scoring 2 goals in the EFL cup game against Bournemouth and winning the man of the match for his performance. Tzolis is expected to be a popular pick for managers in FM22, and his versatility could make it easy to fit him into multiple formations.

6. Alan Velasco

Alan Velasco is an Argentine footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder/winger for Independiente in the Argentine league. Velasco has developed into a solid player in most FM21 saves and, with an increase in reputation in recent months, could be a very popular pick in FM22. Several European clubs are monitoring the progress of Velasco, and he could soon be moving to European football.

7. Tiago Tomas

Tiago Tomas is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a striker for Sporting Lisbon in the Portuguese 1st division. Tomas is a well-rounded striker and is reported by players that he develops into a solid player in most saves on the previous FMs. A couple of bigger European clubs, including Arsenal, are scouting the player and were rumoured to be interested in transferring him to their club. 8. Leonidas Stergiou

Leonidas Stergiou is a Swiss footballer who plays as a central defender for St Gallen in the Swiss league. Already one of the popular wonderkid defenders, Stergiou, on the back of some impressive performances in 2021, could see a good increase in attributes in Football Manager 2022. Stergiou is currently a youth international for Switzerland and is also eligible to represent Greece internationally.

9. Lucas Calegari

Lucas Calegari, or simply referred to as Calegari, is a young Brazilian footballer who plays as a right full-back for Fluminense in the first Brazilian division. Calegari had a well-rounded profile in FM21 and could be an even more popular pick in FM22. He was rumoured with a move to Fiorentina and is also on the radar of several other European clubs.

10. Nuno Mendes

Nuno Mendes is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a left full-back who plays for PSG in Ligue 1. He is currently on loan at PSG from Sporting Lisbon and is also a senior international with Portugal. Considered one of the best left-back prospects in world football, Mendes was already a popular pick in FM21. His increase in stature and performances in 2021 could definitely see Mendes get a significant boost in abilities in FM22 and can be amongst the most sought after wonderkids in the game.
