Born in Luanda, Zito began his career with Primeiro de Agosto and underwent a trial with English club Manchester United's academy in February 2019. He was also linked with a transfer to English club West Ham United. On 23 September 2020, he signed a 5-year contract with the Italian Serie A club Cagliari. On 27 July 2021, he moved to Como on a season-long loan. He has already been given his senior debut for Angola.

Zito is amongst the best African wonderkids in Football Manager 2022 and can be developed into an elite winger.
In our auto FM 2022 save, Zito has remained with Cagliari for the entire 10 seasons. He was struggling to get any sort of game time for the Italian club and spent the majority of his first 7 seasons with the reserves. However, after Cagliari got relegated to Serie B, Zito had finally gotten his opportunity which he seems to have taken with both hands. His 10 goals and 7 assists in the Serie B helped Cagliari achieve promotion, and he was in the team of the season that very year. His impressive run had continued in the final season of the auto save.
His average ratings are quite high whenever he did get the chance to play which is a testament to how consistent he can be with gametime. Zito can be a blessing to managers handling lower tiered teams.
