If you want to avoid a hard slog and get through some seasons quickly then
Denmark is an ideal country for you to manage in Football Manager
2021.
The Danish SuperLiga includes only 12 teams and so there are just 32 matches
in a season. The season is split into a 22 match regular season followed by 10
games in a championship or Relegation group.
Despite Denmark being a small country, it has produced some great footballers including the Laudrup brothers, Peter Schmeichel, his son Kasper, and Jon Dahl Tomasson.

There are also some very decent clubs in the league. This list will give some
ideas of teams to manage in the land of Vikings, Hans Christian Andersen and
Lego.
FC Kobenhavn
Denmark’s most successful club,
FC Kobenhavn, have won the SuperLiga 13 teams and the Danish FA Cup 8 times Kobenhavn are
the country’s dominant force and that’s shown in their line-up.
Viktor Fischer
is the league’s best player and could easily play for an elite European club.

The club has excellent youth facilities and so there are talented young players in the squad like forwards Jonas Wind and Mohamed Daramy. Your job is to turn the club’s local dominance into European success. The club often reaches the Champions League group stages but are cannon fodder. Can you change that?
Brondby are Denmark’s second most successful team and share a fierce rivalry
with FC Kobenhavn. Therefore, the
Copenhagen Derby
attracts the biggest attendance in Danish football. Brondby have a strong team
with former Fulham midfielder Lasse Vigen Christensen, forward Simon Hedlund
and youngster Morten Frendrup.

In recent times, Brondby have not fared as well having won their last title back in 2005. However, back in 1991, they became the only Danish side to reach a European semi-final when they lost to Roma. The side included John Jensen and Peter Schmeichel. Brondby have been overtaken by FC Kobenhavn, they want to return to their rightful place.
If the baseball movie Moneyball grabbed your attention, then FC Midtjylland are the team for you. Nicknamed “Moneyball FC”, after following the Oakland Athletic’s ideas, FC Midtjylland use statistics and analytical data to bring in players cheaply and then sell them for a huge profit.

An example of how this data is used when signing players comes from club director Rasmus Ankersen.
"Let's say you are looking at two strikers," he says.
"One over the course of four games gets three chances and scores three goals. Another over the same number of games gets 10 chances but scores zero goals. Who would you pick?
"The footballing response is to say the first guy is more effective, we should pick him. We would say that actual conversion rates are quite random, so the measure of a good striker is not so much his ability to convert a large proportion of chances, the measure should be: 'Are you able to consistently get into positions where the probability of scoring is high?'
"If yes, overtime goals will come. We would pick the second guy."
So, can you use the data analysis in your favour? Players like Pione Sisto, Evander, and Anders Dreyer are going to be the keys in trying to overcome FC Kobenhavn’s historic dominance.
The challenge of managing Vejle is the opportunity to stir a Danish sleeping
giant out of their slumber. Despite being a highly successful club in the
past, Vejle have not won the Danish league since 1984. It’s been a long time
since Vejle's last Golden Age. In recent years, Vejle have had a yo-yo
existence getting relegated and promoted often.
Brazilian striker Allan Sousa leads the line for Vejle. Meanwhile Danish playmaker Jacob Schoop provides a cutting edge in midfield. The line-up also includes talented youngster Wahidullah Faghir who could become the future of the club. Faghir often moves to bigger European clubs as the game progresses.
Getting this former Danish giant back to where they want to be is going to be a challenge. Could you be the manager to do it?
