Among them, there were three names which stood above others, and we will say a few words about them in the real world, and the way their careers are developing at the moment. These three guys are Matthijs de Ligt, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Kylian Mbappe. De Ligt's meteoric rise kind of slowed down in Juventus. It is not that he doesn't play well anymore, but simply in the team where you have Cristiano Ronaldo, you can't be in the middle of attention. Donnarumma is arguably the most talented goalkeeper in the world, and he showcases that on a daily basis. If it weren't for him, AC Milan would be in a worse position than they are at the moment. Gigio is the most important player on the team, and although many believe Zlatan Ibrahimovic moved Rossoneri since coming back, the truth is that none of the recent good results wouldn't be possible without Donnarumma.

Mbappe has 15 goals in 18 appearances and is the No.1 contender for the Golden Shoe, with the odds 15/13. His team colleague Neymar comes second 5/1, and far behind is Moussa Dembele with 20/1. Also, in six matches of the Champions League, he added five hits and is expected from him to explode as the competition progresses.
But what many eagerly expect is the European championship, where France looks to unify the World title with the continental and establishes this generation as one of the best ever in football. The odds for Gauls to win the title are 13/2, and they are right behind England, who is 11/2. Belgium with 7/1, and de Ligt with the Netherlands are 15/2.
Mbappe is the essential part of the French team, and if by any chance his team wins this tournament, we can say without hesitation, that he is not only the top wonderkid in the world, but also side by side with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and arguably their successor at the throne.
The only difference is that the two veteran superstars had one another as rivals, while Mbappe doesn't have a match in his generation.
