Moving on from last episode where we suffered a cup exit, a league defeat and two easily winnable draws. Let’s move on and hope we can unwrap some wins and candy cane some teams.

EXETER CITY, LEAGUE TWO (10TH)
Our first outing this month is an away tie at Exeter City which we really should take advantage of as they’re on a run of 5 games without a win and currently lie in 10th. We welcome Kevin Lisbie back to the squad in a hope of getting him his first goal for the Reds. It doesn’t got that way though, Exeter completely dominate and systematically pick our team apart, we go into the break 1-0 down. It didn’t get much better after half time due to Centre Back Scales completed a 25 minute hat-trick and made the game 4-0 to Exeter. We’re well and truly in a relegation dog fight here.
As I had 10 days between fixtures, i went and did some fine tuned scouting and shortlist players we could potentially snap up for little to nothing with their contracts running down. A couple successful, a couple not. You’ll have to tune in next time to find out. I’m primarily looking for an out and out striker that will put away 20 a season, similar to that of Izale Mcleod when he played in the red shirt.
DAG & REDBRIDGE, LEAGUE TWO (20TH)
Even if we go on to win the league, this will go down as one of the most thrilling, goal filled, exciting matches i've had on FM. GOALS, GOALS, GOALS! It started off poor with the Daggers getting two early goals but with a quick reply we took it to 2-1 going in to the break. Straight after the break we take the game to 2-2 with a returning Gwion Edwards hitting a fast paced cross straight in to the back of the net giving some hope of a potential win. Suddenly, we hit a third, it's Kevin Lisbie with his first! We're 3-2 up! Incredible! What a comeback... until we hit the last 10 minutes, the daggers hit us not once, not twice but three times on three separate counter attacks to give Dagenham & Redbridge a great win leaving us goal difference from the bottom of the football league..
BARNET, LEAGUE TWO (11TH)
Straight into our next match we go. We're at the Hive in newly promoted Barnet and we should hope to gain at least a point. Unlucky for us, the Bees were out to make honey of us. A slaughtering you could call it. 3-0 at half time to Barnet and a thoroughly dominant defensive display from our rivals gives the club a 3-0 win over us. I'VE BEEN GIVEN A MONTH. 1 MONTH TO TURN THIS AROUND! LET'S DO THIS!
We're currently on a run of 8 games without a win, this season we haven't even been able to string two wins together. I've given the lads a team meeting the air their grievances and all errors seem to point to me? I'm not the two dimensional dot running around. I tell the lads to sort it out on the field, I'm not the only one to blame. They take that well, we're gonna win the league.
STEVENAGE BOROUGH, LEAGUE TWO (6TH)
This is a game I only went in with my only expectation being a draw. Happy days Crawley Fans! We ousted that expectation! Going into half time we take it at 0-0 but we can see that we're easily the more dominant side. This is proven well into the second half when the returning Gwion runs through and gets his 8th league goal of the season! It was a nervy end until Simon Walton converted home a well earned penalty to give the Reds fans (ME) something to run around the room about!
WYCOMBE WANDERERS, LEAGUE TWO (24TH)
We end todays episode with a game we're all expecting to take points from. Wycombe normally put in a strong showing in league two but are failing to impress so far. We start the Wycombe game full of pace and energy, the squad look so up for it and we take a great lead in the 40th minute thanks to Shamir Fenelon . We then take our chances to put away a second goal in the 70th minute with Gavin Tomlin putting a great strike away taking this game to 2-0 and surely out of Wanderers sights. Well, now it is. 3-0 thanks to a great Gwion Edwards run and classy finish through the legs of their embarrassed keeper! We're going to get our first back to back wins of the season!
ROUND UP!
That great result has taken us up all the way to 19th place! We're just three wins outside the play-off places and if we can keep up this great run, why can't we get there?! Oxford are running away with the lead on the turn of the year and are a massive 12 points clear of the promotion places. Worth noting we're also on a run of two clean sheets, we'll need all the goal difference we can get after conceding 12 goals in three games.
Thank you for giving this a view, my next post will be a few days off so look forward to that. Stay updated with my Facebook page if you like! It's all appreciated!
C'MON YOU REDS.
Started from the bottom, still here.
