Good top-flight strikers are pretty hard to come by, and finding one that's going to cost you less than £10 million is pretty much impossible. So, if you're on the hunt for a new centre-forward, may I bring to your attention somewhat of a forgotten man...

Chelsea's Loic Remy has a pretty good Premier League goalscoring record and, in comparison to strikers at clubs like Bournemouth, Swansea and Aston Villa, has superior striking stats.

Upon beginning your FM 2016 Career, you can find him on the transfer-list for £9M; that's half of his £18M valuation. My advice is to go out and sign him immediately as, at that price, there will be no shortage of bidders.

His £80K per-week wages may be a stumbling block for some clubs but, with stats like 15 for Finishing and 17 for Penalty Taking, it's worth getting rid of a couple of fringe-players to free up the cash to sign him.

In my experience, if Remy plays around 28-38 games in a season, he will always bag you at least 10 goals. The best season I've managed with him so far was on my Bournemouth save file, in which he scored 23 goals (18 in the Premier League); saving the club from relegation and helping me to an FA Cup semi-final.
