Welcome to FM Blog. These Terms of Service govern your use of footballmanagerblog.org, including FM Blog Community features, Google Sign-In, comments, replies, likes, saved content, notifications and other account-based features.

By accessing or using FM Blog, creating an FM Blog account, signing in with Google, or participating in FM Blog Community, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. About FM Blog

FM Blog is an independent website providing Football Manager news, guides, tactics, downloads, community features and related content.

FM Blog is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Sports Interactive, SEGA or Google unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. FM Blog Accounts and Google Sign-In

Some features of FM Blog require you to sign in using your Google account.

When you use Google Sign-In, FM Blog may receive basic account information made available through the authentication process, such as your name, email address, profile picture and a unique account identifier.

Your Google password is never provided to FM Blog.

You are responsible for maintaining control of the Google account used to access FM Blog and for activity performed through your FM Blog account.

You must not impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive purposes or attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account.

3. FM Blog Community

Registered users may participate in FM Blog Community features, including posting comments, replying to other users, liking comments, following discussions and receiving on-site notifications.

When participating in the community, you agree not to post content that:

is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing or defamatory;
contains hate speech or attacks people based on protected characteristics;
contains spam, scams, misleading promotions or repetitive advertising;
infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
contains malware, malicious links or attempts to compromise the website or its users;
publishes private or personal information about another person without permission;
is deliberately disruptive or intended primarily to provoke, intimidate or damage the community.

Healthy disagreement, criticism and discussion are welcome. Abuse and harassment are not.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to FM Blog, including comments and replies.

By submitting content, you give FM Blog a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, reproduce and make that content available as necessary to operate and present the FM Blog website and community.

This licence ends when the content is permanently removed from our systems, except where retention is reasonably necessary for security, moderation, legal compliance, backups or the integrity of existing discussions.

5. Editing and Deleting Comments

Where the feature is available, users may edit or delete their own comments.

Deleting a comment may remove it from public display while certain technical records may remain temporarily or be retained where reasonably necessary for moderation, security, abuse prevention or system integrity.

6. Moderation

FM Blog may moderate community activity to keep discussions useful and safe.

We may edit the presentation of, hide, remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably consider harmful to the website or community.

FM Blog may also restrict, suspend or ban accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms.

Users may report content for review. A report does not guarantee that content will be removed.

7. Likes, Following and Notifications

FM Blog may provide community features such as likes, followed discussions, mentions and on-site notifications.

These features are provided for convenience and may change, be reset or become unavailable as the service evolves.

FM Blog currently provides community notifications within the website. We do not guarantee delivery of any particular notification.

8. Saved Content

Signed-in users may be able to save FM Blog articles, tactics, guides or other content to their account for easier access later.

Saving an item does not guarantee that the underlying article, download or resource will remain available permanently.

9. Community Profiles and Activity

FM Blog may maintain account information required to provide community features, such as your display name, profile image, account identifier, account status, saved items, followed discussions and community activity.

Certain profile information may be visible alongside your public comments and replies.

Your email address is not displayed publicly as part of normal community comments.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the design, branding, text, graphics, original articles and other original material published by FM Blog are owned by or licensed to FM Blog and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may link to FM Blog content and share reasonable excerpts with attribution. You may not reproduce substantial portions of FM Blog content, republish complete articles, redistribute premium material or commercially exploit FM Blog content without permission.

Football Manager, Sports Interactive, SEGA and other third-party names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Downloads and Third-Party Content

FM Blog may link to or provide access to downloads, websites, services and products operated by third parties.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. FM Blog is not responsible for the availability, security, content or practices of third-party websites and services.

12. Premium Services and Purchases

Some FM Blog products or services may require payment and may be subject to additional terms presented at the time of purchase.

Where a third-party payment provider processes a transaction, that provider's terms and privacy practices may also apply.

13. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep FM Blog available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Features may be added, changed, suspended or removed at any time, including community, account, notification, saved-content and commenting features.

14. No Warranty

FM Blog and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

While we aim to provide accurate and useful information, we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, current, error-free or suitable for every purpose.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FM Blog and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its services.

Your use of FM Blog is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and used when you browse FM Blog, sign in with Google or use FM Blog Community features.

You may stop using FM Blog at any time.

FM Blog may restrict or terminate access to community features where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, prevent abuse or comply with legal obligations.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as FM Blog and its features evolve.

When material changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of FM Blog after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
