57 nations, 400+ wonderkids — the best young player from every country in Football Manager 2026
Scouting in Football Manager 2026 rewards global thinking. The best wonderkids are not all in La Liga or the Premier League — they are scattered across 57 nations, from the academies of Barcelona to a £32k midfielder in South Africa and a £675k left winger in Uzbekistan. If you only scout the obvious leagues, you are missing half the talent in the database.
This is the definitive nation-by-nation scouting guide. We went through the entire FM26 wonderkids shortlist, filtered for every player with a Potential Ability of 150 or higher, and grouped them by nationality. For each of the 57 nations represented, we highlight the best wonderkid alongside any notable alternatives worth scouting.
Whether you are building a squad around a specific nationality for home-grown rules, planning a journeyman career across continents, or simply want to know where the best talent is hiding — this is the article you bookmark.
How this guide works
Every nation with at least one wonderkid rated PA 150 or above in the FM26 database is included. For each country, we feature the highest-PA wonderkid as the headline pick, with their age, position, club, asking price and PA rating. Where a nation has multiple wonderkids, we list the best alternatives underneath so you have a complete scouting picture.
The guide is organised by continent: Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, North and Central America, and Oceania. Within each continent, nations are ranked by the PA of their best wonderkid — so the strongest talent pipelines appear first.
A quick reminder: Potential Ability is the ceiling, not the guarantee. Development depends on minutes, coaching, mentoring and personality. For a full breakdown of how to develop wonderkids properly, the Mastering FM26 eBook covers everything from training schedules to mentoring groups.
Europe — 26 nations
Europe dominates the FM26 wonderkid database, and it is not particularly close. Twenty-six European nations produce at least one player with PA 150 or higher. The depth in Spain, France, England and Germany is staggering, but there are hidden gems in Slovenia, Iceland and Montenegro that most managers never think to scout.
Spain — 49 wonderkids
Best: Lamine Yamal · 17 · AMR · Barcelona · £270M · PA 194
Spain has the deepest wonderkid pool in FM26 by some distance. Yamal is not just Spain's best young talent — he is the best wonderkid in the entire game. At 194 PA he is a generational talent, though at £270M he is obviously not a bargain signing. The real value in Spanish scouting comes further down the list.
Also scout: Pau Cubarsí (DC, Barcelona, PA 186), Pau Navarro (DC, Real Madrid, PA 179), Ferrán Quetglás (GK, Real Madrid B, PA 162), Jesús Fortea (DR, Real Madrid C, PA 159, just £325k), Miguel Cubo (ST, Atlético Madrid, PA 159, just £62k).
Sweden — 6 wonderkids
Best: Lucas Bergvall · 19 · MC/AMC · Tottenham · £57M · PA 181
Sweden punches well above its weight in FM26. Bergvall is a complete midfielder with a ceiling that rivals anyone outside the 185+ tier. At Tottenham he has the Premier League platform to develop quickly. Sweden also has Jonah Kusi-Asare at Fulham — a striker with 156 PA and dual Swedish-Ghanaian nationality that can help with home-grown quotas.
France — 41 wonderkids
Best: Désiré Doué · 20 · AMR/AMC · Paris Saint-Germain · £140M · PA 178
France's production line is relentless. Doué leads the way at PSG, but the real excitement is in the next tier: Ayyoub Bouaddi (DM, Lille, PA 176, £10M) and Eli Junior Kroupi (AML, Rennes, PA 176) offer elite ceilings at a fraction of the price. French wonderkids from Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 academies are consistently some of the best value signings in FM.
Also scout: Arone Gadou (AML, Reims, PA 163, £3M), Djylian N'Guessan (ST, Saint-Étienne, PA 163, £5M), Mattéo Bancillon (AMC, Nice, PA 159, £4M), Quentin Ndjantou (ST, PSG, PA 158, £10M).
Belgium — 12 wonderkids
Best: Nathan De Cat · 16 · DM/MC · Anderlecht · £45M · PA 178
Belgian football continues to produce midfielders at an absurd rate. De Cat is just 16 with 178 PA — the kind of deep-lying playmaker who anchors a midfield for a decade. Malick Fofana (AML, Lyon, PA 177) and Arthur Vermeeren (DM, RB Leipzig, PA 167) round out an incredibly strong Belgian contingent.
England — 45 wonderkids
Best: Luca Williams-Barnett · 16 · AMR/AML/AMC/ST · Tottenham · £18M · PA 176
England has the second-largest wonderkid pool in the game and Williams-Barnett leads it. His four-position versatility at 176 PA and just 16 years old is remarkable. Behind him, Jeremy Monga (AMR, Arsenal, PA 175) and Ethan Nwaneri (AMC, Arsenal, PA 173) give Arsenal an embarrassment of riches. The English talent pool is deep enough to fill a squad without looking abroad.
Also scout: Jayden Ngwashi (DC, Man Utd, PA 167, £8M), Josh Sonni-Lambie (AMC/ST, Liverpool, PA 160, £4M), Chinaza Nwosu (MC, Nott'm Forest, PA 160, £5M), Josh Stephenson (DL/DC, Brentford, PA 160, £7M), Freddie Simmonds (DC, Brighton, PA 157, £7M).
Portugal — 24 wonderkids
Best: João Neves · 20 · DM/MC · Paris Saint-Germain · £254M · PA 174
Portuguese academies are wonderkid factories and Neves is the crown jewel — already established at PSG with a monstrous valuation to match his 174 PA. For more realistic signings, look at Mateus Fernandes (MC, PSG, PA 172), Daniel Banjaqui (AMR, Braga, PA 168) or the bargain pick Francisco Fernandes (AML, Porto, PA 159, £3M).
Germany — 25 wonderkids
Best: Assan Ouédraogo · 19 · MC/AMC · RB Leipzig · £87M · PA 172
Germany's wonderkid pipeline runs through Leipzig and Freiburg in FM26. Ouédraogo leads the way with a well-rounded midfield profile, but Tom Bischof (MC/AMC, Leverkusen, PA 170) and Karim Coulibaly (DM, Bayern, PA 169) are not far behind. German wonderkids tend to be physically developed earlier than average, making them ready for first-team football sooner.
Italy — 23 wonderkids
Best: Francesco Pio Esposito · 20 · ST · Inter · £65M · PA 169
Italy's strongest wonderkid is a classic number nine at Inter. Esposito has the finishing ceiling to lead any Serie A attack. Behind him, Michael Kayode (DR, Fiorentina, PA 168) is one of the best young right-backs in the game, and Tommaso Rubino (AMC, Carrarese, PA 160, £6M) offers outstanding value from Serie B.
Netherlands — 18 wonderkids
Best: Emre Ünüvar · 17 · ST · Ajax · £15M · PA 169
Dutch football's tactical education gives their wonderkids an edge — high lines, pressing, build-up play. Ünüvar leads from Ajax, but Antoni Milambo (MC, Feyenoord, PA 166) and Kees Smit (AML/ST, Heerenveen, PA 165) are excellent cheaper alternatives. The Eredivisie remains one of the best development leagues in FM.
Croatia — 7 wonderkids
Best: Luka Vušković · 18 · DC · Hamburger SV · £49M · PA 169
Croatia continues to produce talent that defies its population size. Vušković is a centre-back with world-class potential at just 18. Further down, Leon Grgić (MC, Dinamo Zagreb, PA 163) and Anton Matković (AMR/ST, Osijek, PA 158, £4M) offer affordable Croatian talent for any save.
Norway — 5 wonderkids
Best: Antonio Nusa · 20 · AML/AMR · RB Leipzig · £84M · PA 168
Norwegian football has surged in recent years and Nusa is the pick of the crop — a two-footed winger with serious pace and 168 PA. For a budget option, Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh (DC, Tromsø, PA 157, £6M) is a centre-back gem hiding in the Eliteserien.
Slovenia — 3 wonderkids
Best: Luka Topalović · 19 · MC/AMC · Inter · £20M · PA 167
Slovenia is not a traditional scouting hotspot, but Topalović at Inter changes that. A 167 PA midfielder at one of Europe's best clubs. Nejc Viher (DM, Maribor, PA 159, £1M) is the hidden gem — a holding midfielder available for almost nothing.
Switzerland — 6 wonderkids
Best: Johan Manzambi · 19 · DM/MC/AMC · Freiburg · £66M · PA 165
Manzambi is already at a Bundesliga club and his positional versatility across the entire midfield is outstanding. Switzerland also hides Mladen Mijajlović (MC/AMC, Freiburg, PA 159, £4M) — technically Swiss-eligible but playing for the same club at a fraction of the price.
Hungary — 3 wonderkids
Best: Bence Dárdai · 19 · MC/AMC · Wolfsburg · £28M · PA 162
The Dárdai name carries weight in German and Hungarian football, and Bence continues that legacy. A creative midfielder at Wolfsburg with the ceiling to play for any Champions League side. Hungary also has the Yaakobishvili twins — Antal (PA 155) and Áron (PA 150) — for an interesting dual signing.
Bosnia & Herzegovina — 1 wonderkid
Best: Kerim Alajbegović · 17 · AML · RB Salzburg · £16M · PA 160
Bosnia's sole representative in the 150+ tier, but what a representative. Alajbegović is a left winger at Salzburg's development factory with 160 PA at 17. The Salzburg pathway to Leipzig and beyond is well trodden — this is a smart signing for patient managers.
Scotland — 2 wonderkids
Best: Rory Wilson · 19 · ST · Sturm Graz · £8M · PA 159
Scottish strikers who leave home early tend to thrive in FM, and Wilson fits that mould perfectly. At Sturm Graz in Austria he is getting competitive minutes at a decent level, and his 159 PA ceiling means he can lead the line for most top-division clubs. Ben Gannon Doak (AMR/AML, Liverpool, PA 152) is the other Scottish talent to watch.
Iceland — 1 wonderkid
Best: Viktor Bjarki Daðason · 17 · ST · FC København · £14M · PA 159
Iceland producing a 159 PA striker is remarkable. Daðason is at Copenhagen, which gives him a strong Scandinavian development pathway. At 17 he has time to become a genuinely elite forward. One of the most surprising entries on this entire list.
Denmark — 7 wonderkids
Best: Patrick Dorgu · 20 · DL/WBL · Manchester United · £53M · PA 158
Dorgu is already at a Premier League giant and his 158 PA gives him the ceiling of a top-tier full-back. Danish football also offers Victor Froholdt (MC, Midtjylland, PA 158) and Noah Nartey (DC, Copenhagen, PA 157) as cheaper alternatives from the Danish Superliga.
Serbia — 2 wonderkids
Best: Andrija Maksimović · 18 · MC/AMR/AMC · RB Leipzig · £12M · PA 158
Serbian midfielders have a long history of excelling in the Bundesliga and Maksimović looks set to continue that trend. His positional versatility across midfield and the right wing makes him a tactically flexible signing at £12M.
Russia — 2 wonderkids
Best: Alexey Batrakov · 20 · AMC · Lokomotiv Moscow · £10M · PA 157
Russian wonderkids are tricky due to transfer restrictions in some saves, but Batrakov is worth the hassle if you can get him. An attacking midfielder with 157 PA at £10M is strong value. Kirill Glebov (GK, Dinamo Moscow, PA 152) is the backup pick if you need a goalkeeper.
Ireland — 2 wonderkids
Best: Evan Ferguson · 20 · ST · Roma · £42M · PA 155
Ferguson has already made a name for himself in real life and FM26 reflects that. At Roma with 155 PA, he is a reliable goal scorer for any side. Mason Melia (ST, Roma, PA 150) provides an Irish striking partnership if you are building around nationality.
Austria — 1 wonderkid
Best: Salko Hamzić · 18 · GK · RB Salzburg · £9M · PA 154
Austrian goalkeepers through the Salzburg system have historically developed well in FM. Hamzić has 154 PA and Salzburg's coaching infrastructure behind him. A smart long-term goalkeeper signing for any Bundesliga or Premier League side.
Poland — 3 wonderkids
Best: Kacper Potulski · 17 · DC · Mainz · £19M · PA 154
A Polish centre-back in the Bundesliga at 17 with 154 PA. Potulski represents solid defensive depth with room to grow. Poland also has Kacper Urbański (AMC, Bologna, PA 150) and Aleksander Wyganowski (DL, Lech Poznań, PA 150) for deeper scouting.
Ukraine — 1 wonderkid
Best: Vladyslav Krapyvtsov · 20 · GK · Girona · £14M · PA 153
A Ukrainian goalkeeper at Girona in La Liga. Krapyvtsov has 153 PA and already plays in one of Europe's top leagues, which gives him a development advantage over similarly rated keepers in weaker divisions.
Czech Republic — 1 wonderkid
Best: Lewis Azaka · 16 · AMR · Sparta Prague · £650k · PA 152
At £650k this is a pure low-risk punt. Azaka is 16, plays for Sparta Prague, and has 152 PA. If you are scouting the Czech league anyway, he is worth adding to your shortlist for next to nothing.
Montenegro — 1 wonderkid
Best: Andrej Kostić · 18 · ST · Partizan · £2M · PA 151
A Montenegrin striker at Partizan Belgrade for £2M with 151 PA. Balkan strikers at this price have a long and profitable history in Football Manager. Kostić is a gamble, but at £2M the downside is minimal.
South America — 7 nations
South America has always been Football Manager's richest hunting ground for wonderkids, and FM26 is no different. Brazil and Argentina dominate, but Ecuador, Colombia and even Venezuela have talent worth crossing the Atlantic for.
Brazil — 26 wonderkids
Best: Endrick · 18 · ST · Lyon · £96M · PA 182
Brazil's wonderkid depth is second only to Spain. Endrick leads the way with 182 PA — a complete striker who can lead any attack in the world. Behind him, Estêvão (AMR, Chelsea, PA 176) and Vitor Roque (ST, Barcelona, PA 174) are already at European giants. For budget signings, Brazil offers some of the best value in the game: Wesley Natã (AML, Fluminense, PA 159, £1M), Bruninho (AMR, Athletico Paranaense, PA 159, £2M), and the absurd João Borne (AMC, Grêmio, PA 158, just £13k).
Also scout: Gabriel Mec (AML, Grêmio, PA 169, £8M), Francisco Fernandes (AML, Porto, PA 159, £3M), Eduardo Fernandes (AMR/AML, Benfica B, PA 160, £5M).
Argentina — 16 wonderkids
Best: Nico Paz · 20 · AMC · Como · £86M · PA 181
Argentina's talent pool is led by two players sharing 181 PA — Paz at Como in Serie A and Franco Mastantuono (AMC, River Plate, PA 181) who is considerably cheaper. The Argentine production line extends deep: Valentín Barco (DL, Sevilla, PA 164) and Juan Cruz Meza (MC/AMC, River Plate, PA 158, £10M) are both excellent mid-range signings.
Ecuador — 1 wonderkid
Best: Kendry Páez · 18 · AMC · River Plate · £25M · PA 159
Ecuador's sole 150+ representative but an exciting one. Páez is a creative midfielder already playing for River Plate in Argentina, which gives him a competitive development environment. At 159 PA and 18, he has the ceiling to become a top-level playmaker.
Colombia — 3 wonderkids
Best: Jordan Barrera · 19 · AML/AMC · Botafogo · £10M · PA 158
Colombian wonderkids are reliably good in FM and Barrera is the pick. A versatile attacker playing in the Brazilian league with 158 PA. Cristian Florez (AMR, Atlético Madrid, PA 156, £1M) is the budget alternative — a right winger at Atlético for just £1M.
Uruguay — 3 wonderkids
Best: Álvaro Rodríguez · 20 · ST · Elche · £51M · PA 155
Uruguay's tradition of producing physical, technically gifted strikers continues with Rodríguez. At 155 PA he is a solid rather than spectacular ceiling, but his price may come down if Elche struggle financially in your save.
Venezuela — 1 wonderkid
Best: David Martínez · 19 · AMR/AML/AMC · LAFC · £5M · PA 152
Venezuelan talent is rare in FM, which makes Martínez a genuine find. A versatile attacker at LAFC covering three positions for £5M. His MLS base makes the transfer straightforward for most clubs.
Chile — 1 wonderkid
Best: Iván Román · 18 · DC · Atlético Madrid · £10M · PA 151
A Chilean centre-back at Atlético Madrid — one of the best defensive schools in European football. Román has 151 PA and Simeone's system will sharpen his defensive instincts. If you need a solid centre-back with room to grow, this is a dependable option.
Africa — 14 nations
African wonderkids are among the most undervalued in Football Manager. Fourteen nations produce PA 150+ talent, and the gap between what you pay and what you get is often absurd. Some of the best ROI signings in the entire game come from scouting Africa properly.
Senegal — 6 wonderkids
Best: Ibrahim Mbaye · 17 · AMR · Paris Saint-Germain · £27M · PA 176
Senegal has quietly become one of the strongest talent producers in FM26. Mbaye is a right winger at PSG with a staggering 176 PA at just 17 — that is world-class ceiling. Assane Diao (AMR, Real Betis, PA 171) and Nobel Mendy (AML, Monaco, PA 161) give Senegal serious depth. This is not a one-player nation — it is a genuine scouting goldmine.
Gambia — 2 wonderkids
Best: Yankuba Minteh · 20 · AMR · Brighton · £65M · PA 170
Gambia's population is under three million, yet it produces a 170 PA right winger. Minteh is already at Brighton in the Premier League and is developing rapidly. Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh (DC, Tromsø, PA 157, £6M) is the budget Gambian option — a centre-back in Norway who represents outstanding value.
Morocco — 4 wonderkids
Best: Abdellah Ouazane · 16 · MC/AMC · Ajax · £22M · PA 169
Moroccan talent has exploded in recent FM editions and Ouazane is the standout — a 16-year-old midfielder at Ajax with 169 PA. The Dutch development pathway is ideal for his profile. Eliesse Ben Seghir (AML, Monaco, PA 151) is the cheaper Moroccan pick.
Ivory Coast — 3 wonderkids
Best: Yan Diomandé · 18 · AML/AMR · RB Leipzig · £87M · PA 167
Ivorian attackers have been FM staples for years and Diomandé continues that tradition. His dual-wing capability at 167 PA makes him a nightmare for defenders. Already at Leipzig, his development is in safe hands.
Algeria — 3 wonderkids
Best: Ibrahim Maza · 19 · MC/AMC · Bayer Leverkusen · £56M · PA 165
Maza is an Algerian midfielder at the reigning Bundesliga champions. At 165 PA he has the ceiling to become a key player for any top-tier club. Leverkusen's system under Alonso develops midfielders exceptionally well in FM26.
Congo — 1 wonderkid
Best: Ngal'Ayel Mukau · 20 · DM/MC · Lille · £28M · PA 163
A Congolese holding midfielder at Lille with 163 PA. Mukau is a physical, press-resistant midfielder who can anchor your midfield. At 20 he is approaching his peak development years — sign him now for maximum growth.
Cameroon — 2 wonderkids
Best: Christian Kofane · 18 · ST · Bayer Leverkusen · £53M · PA 159
Cameroon's tradition of producing elite strikers extends into FM26 with Kofane. A powerful forward at Leverkusen with 159 PA. Arthur Avom Ebong (MC, Lorient, PA 157, £10M) is the budget Cameroonian option.
Mali — 1 wonderkid
Best: Gaoussou Diakité · 19 · AMC/ST · Lausanne · £16M · PA 159
A Malian attacker playing in Switzerland with the versatility to play behind the striker or through the middle. Diakité is the kind of signing that flies under the radar in most saves.
Guinea — 1 wonderkid
Best: Facinet Conté · 20 · ST · Young Boys · £8M · PA 159
Conté is a Guinean striker at Young Boys in Switzerland. At 20 with 159 PA, he is close to being first-team ready for a step up to a top-five league. £8M is reasonable for a forward with this ceiling and physical readiness.
Ghana — 2 wonderkids
Best: Edmund Baidoo · 19 · AMR · RB Salzburg · £15M · PA 157
Ghanaian talent through the Salzburg pathway is a proven FM recipe. Baidoo is a right winger with 157 PA at the Austrian club that has developed some of the best attackers in the game. Caleb Yirenkyi (DC, Salzburg, PA 155) gives you a Ghanaian defensive option from the same club.
Tunisia — 1 wonderkid
Best: Wassim Slama · 16 · MC · Paris Saint-Germain · £3M · PA 153
A 16-year-old Tunisian midfielder at PSG for just £3M. Slama is young enough that he has maximum development runway, and PSG's academy gives him elite coaching. A low-cost gamble with genuine upside.
Sierra Leone — 1 wonderkid
Best: Juma Bah · 19 · DC · Nice · £16M · PA 151
A Sierra Leonean centre-back in Ligue 1 with 151 PA. Bah is a physical defender who benefits from Nice's structured development system. Not the flashiest signing, but a reliable one.
Nigeria — 1 wonderkid
Best: Honest Ahanor · 17 · DC · Atalanta · £15M · PA 150
Nigeria's sole 150+ wonderkid is a centre-back at Atalanta — one of Serie A's best development clubs. Ahanor has the physical tools to become a dominant defender and Gasperini's system will sharpen his tactical awareness.
South Africa — 3 wonderkids
Best: Lazola Maku · 18 · MC · Siwelele FC · £32k · PA 150
The cheapest wonderkid in this entire guide costs £32k. Maku is an 18-year-old South African midfielder who you can sign for less than a scouting report. At 150 PA his ceiling is modest, but the price makes him a zero-risk signing. South Africa also has Gomolemo Kekana and Mbekezeli Mbokazi, both at PA 150 — three wonderkids for a combined cost that most Premier League clubs spend on a pre-season friendly kit.
Asia — 6 nations
Asian wonderkids are some of the most undercosted players in FM26. Six nations produce PA 150+ talent, and two of them — Georgia and Kazakhstan — have players with 179 PA available for just £4M each. If you are not scouting Asia, you are leaving money on the table.
Türkiye — 7 wonderkids
Best: Kenan Yıldız · 20 · AML/AMC · Juventus · £118M · PA 184
Yıldız is the highest-rated Asian wonderkid in the game and one of the best overall. A creative attacker at Juventus with 184 PA — he is already a star. Behind him, Arda Güler (AMR/AMC, Real Madrid, PA 173) and Can Uzun (AMC, Nürnberg, PA 168) give Türkiye serious depth. Turkish wonderkids at Bundesliga and Serie A clubs are consistently strong value.
Georgia — 1 wonderkid
Best: Saba Kharebashvili · 16 · DL · Dinamo Tbilisi · £4M · PA 179
This might be the single best value wonderkid in the entire FM26 database. Kharebashvili has 179 PA — that is near-Yamal territory — and costs just £4M from the Georgian league. A left-back with this ceiling at this price is the stuff FM legends are built on. Sign him in your first transfer window. Do not overthink it.
Kazakhstan — 3 wonderkids
Best: Dastan Sätpayev · 16 · AMR/ST · Qairat Almaty · £4M · PA 179
Kazakhstan sharing the 179 PA spot with Georgia is one of FM26's most fascinating data points. Sätpayev is a 16-year-old forward who can play on the right wing or through the middle — positional flexibility that amplifies his already absurd potential. At £4M from the Kazakh league, this is a signing that could define your save. Däulet Orynbasar (ST, PA 153) and Ismail Bekbolat (AML, PA 152) give Kazakhstan unexpected depth.
Uzbekistan — 1 wonderkid
Best: Sadriddin Hasanov · 17 · AML · Bunyodkor · £675k · PA 167
An Uzbek left winger with 167 PA for £675k. Nobody is scouting Uzbekistan. Nobody is competing for this signing. You walk in, pay less than a League Two transfer fee, and develop a player who can start for Champions League sides within three seasons. Hasanov is one of the most outrageously underpriced talents in the entire game.
South Korea — 3 wonderkids
Best: Minsu Kim · 19 · AMR/AML/AMC · FC Andorra · £4M · PA 159
South Korea produces technically gifted attackers and Kim is the standout — a versatile forward covering three positions for just £4M. Yang Min-Hyeok (AMR, Tottenham, PA 154) is the other Korean talent worth tracking, especially for Premier League saves where he counts towards overseas development quotas.
Japan — 4 wonderkids
Best: Yumeki Yokoyama · 19 · AML · FC Imabari · £600k · PA 158
Japanese wonderkids have been FM's best-kept budget secret for years and FM26 is no different. Yokoyama costs £600k with 158 PA — that is absurd value. Ryunosuke Soto (AML, Okayama, PA 157, £5M) and Kota Takai (AMR, Fukuoka, PA 156) round out a strong Japanese contingent. If you are not scouting the J-League, start now.
North & Central America — 2 nations
Mexico — 3 wonderkids
Best: Gilberto Mora · 16 · AMC · Tijuana · £7M · PA 166
Mexican football produces creative midfielders at a high rate and Mora is this edition's best. A 16-year-old playmaker with 166 PA at Tijuana — he has the ceiling to become one of the best attacking midfielders outside Europe. Work permits can complicate European moves depending on your league, so plan the transfer timing carefully.
U.S.A. — 7 wonderkids
Best: Christopher Cupps · 17 · DC · Chicago Fire · £4M · PA 162
American wonderkids are consistently underpriced due to MLS reputation, and Cupps is the perfect example — a centre-back with 162 PA for just £4M. The US also has Noahkai Banks (AMR/AML, Augsburg, PA 159) already in the Bundesliga, and Diego Kochen (GK, Barcelona, PA 156) as a future elite goalkeeper. Seven American wonderkids give the USA genuine depth across positions.
Oceania — 2 nations
Australia — 1 wonderkid
Best: Garang Kuol · 20 · AMR/ST · Sparta Prague · £5M · PA 154
Australian talent in FM is rare but Kuol has been a known quantity for a few editions now. A versatile attacker at Sparta Prague with 154 PA and dual-position capability. At £5M he is a reasonable pick for squads needing attacking depth with some upside.
New Zealand — 1 wonderkid
Best: Tyler Bindon · 20 · DC · Sheffield United · £18M · PA 154
A New Zealand centre-back in the English system. Bindon is at Sheffield United with 154 PA — not a spectacular ceiling, but the English league exposure and his physical profile make him a solid defensive signing. He also helps with home-grown requirements if you are managing in England.

Key takeaways
The biggest headline from this data is the value hiding outside traditional scouting regions. Georgia and Kazakhstan both have 179 PA wonderkids available for £4M. Uzbekistan has a 167 PA left winger for £675k. Japan has two wingers under £5M with PA 157 and 158. South Africa has a wonderkid for £32k. If your scouting network only covers Europe's top five leagues, you are missing the best deals in the game.
The deepest nations by volume are Spain (49 wonderkids), England (45), France (41), Brazil (26), Germany (25), Portugal (24) and Italy (23). These are the nations you can build entire squads around without looking elsewhere. For home-grown and registration purposes, knowing which nations produce the deepest talent pools is essential.
RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg and Paris Saint-Germain appear more than any other clubs across this list. If you want to sign elite wonderkids from multiple nations, those three clubs are your first scouting stops.
For the full searchable database with live filters by position, price and PA, head to our FM26 Wonderkids Shortlist. If you want cheap wonderkids specifically, our FM26 Best Bargains list is built for that. And for a complete system to develop the talent once it arrives, the Mastering FM26 eBook covers training, mentoring and squad building from day one.
Happy scouting, gaffer. The whole world is watching — make sure you are watching back.
