However, one thing that won't change in FM25 is our desire for wonderkids. Whether you’re looking to build your side for the long term or seeking affordable gems to sell for huge profits down the line, the FM community is obsessed with wonderkids. This article will highlight seven players who I believe could be pivotal players for your FM25 save.

Maximilian Ibrahimovic (AC Milan): The Next Swedish Superstar

At 17 years old, Maximilian Ibrahimovic has big shoes to fill. As the son of Sweden’s greatest-ever player, the pressure on his shoulders must be immense. However, Maximilian looks equipped to handle the pressure, and has signed his first professional contract with AC Milan. A striker like his father, I would expect his pedigree to shine through on FM25 and recognise Maximilian as one of Europe’s most promising emerging talents.

With arguably the best name in football, Steven Gerrard Gaote is a teenage Bulgarian midfielder who rose to prominence for a stunning volley while plying his trade for Levski Sofia. His technical ability and extensive highlight reel has earned him a move to Rennes, and I don’t doubt that he’ll be a highly-rated playmaker on FM25. He’s only 16, so he still has plenty of room to grow, but there’s certainly reason to be excited for his future.

Raul Kumar (Istra 1961): The Future of European Defending

If you’re looking for the bedrock of your defence for the foreseeable future, look no further than Istra’s 16-year-old centre-back. Raul Kumar is a talented ball-playing defender, with excellent anticipation and reading of the game, good pace, and excellent height for a defender. He looks like he has the potential to become one of the best defenders in Europe with the right coaching, and any FM player worth his salt will be excited to bring out the best of this prodigious talent. Put him on strength training and watch as he becomes a truly dominant aerial presence.

A Dutch-born Turkish striker, Ünüvar has been making waves with Ajax’s youth setup. Scoring for fun through the u17s, the 16-year-old has earned his spot in Jong Ajax - the Amsterdam giants’ B team playing in the Eerste Divisie. He’s also made 3 appearances for the Dutch u17 national side, scoring twice. With his eye for goal and excellent movement, he displays an intelligence for the game well beyond his years, and I expect him to be a hot commodity on FM25.

Ryan Roberto (Flamengo): The New Dribbling Sensation from Brazil

FM players love Brazillian youngsters. We all had great fun with Endrick and Estevao, and with Neymar and Ganso in years gone by. The good times will keep on rolling in FM25, and Ryan Roberto looks to be the next player out of the fabled Flamengo academy. An inside forward with incredible skill and dribbling ability, Roberto has drawn comparisons to the legendary Ronaldinho. Also only 16, you’ll have to wait a couple of seasons to take him out of Brazil, but he looks to be a solid acquisition for your left-sided forward spot.

Every bit the modern full-back, Kosugi is a talented left-back perfectly suited to the demands of European football. Making waves in the Djugården first team this season, Keita has the pace and work rate required to succeed in a high-pressing system with a high defensive line, both staples of the FM community. With improved crossing and vision, he could become a highly effective attacking left-back for your side for years to come.
