One of Football Manager's most famous YouTubers, Zealand, said what we're all thinking, the FM graphics are crap.
Zealand started a thread on his Twitter profile about how the graphics in Football Manager are surprisingly bad, considering that the game has been in the works since 2005.
The tweet he published clearly shows that the vast majority of players agree with that statement because less than an hour after it was published, the tweet earned over 2,500 likes.
Of course, by bad graphics, he means the 3D match engine, which, from the highlights of the Football Manager 2023 headline features video, does not look like it has changed for the better.
You can see his entire thread on this topic below.
In the end, Zealand made a great point by saying that better graphics won't ruin the game; adjusting the graphics to a higher or lower level with the help of the slider will still allow the game to be played on older machines, given that FM caters to lower processing power.
We got rid of player sliding after many years of asking for a fix for that bug in the match engine, but whether we will see graphics as FIFA has for 3D matches in the near future remains to be seen.
What do you think? Should the 3D graphics in FM have already received an update?
