Born in Ivory Coast, Diallo moved to Italy aged 10. After impressing in a local Christmas tournament, several Italian clubs were interested in signing Diallo, and he eventually chose Atalanta, joining the club in 2015. Working his way up the system, Diallo debuted for the Atalanta senior team in October 2019 and scored on debut. Diallo also became the first player born in 2002 to score in the Italian top flight. Diallo made the switch to Manchester United in January 2021 and was subsequently sent on loan to Rangers in January 2022, where he scored on his debut. Diallo is an international with Ivory Coast and has represented the African nation 3 times already.
