Our FM22 shortlist of non-league players you must sign for your club on Football Manager 2022.
For anyone trying to build a team on Football Manager 2022, the old adage is true: you are only as good as your worst player. Trying to find the best players to bring in to bulk up your team? Then check this list out. In here, we will break down the best players from the non-leagues of England that you might wish to take a closer look at.
The lower leagues can be a great place to look to for signings and potential stars, and this list can give you some great inspiration.
David Wheater – CB
Probably best in a back three with a bit of pace at either side as he is pretty slow these days. A solid player at this level, though, with enough quality to make a decent enough impression at this level.
Aziz Deen-Conteh – FB
Deen-Conteh will likely drive you up the wall with his decision making, but he is a very good player who could definitely do a job at this level. Though he might lack a bit of consistency, he is a solid free agent.
Elvis Bwomono – FB
With some coaching and a bit of leeway given for his more annoying lapses in concentration, Bwomono could be a fine addition to most non-league teams looking to get promoted either in your first or second season.
Darron Gibson - DM
A tidy midfielder with plenty of experience, if you can surround him with legs he could be a fine addition to any team in the non-league levels. Definitely, one to keep an eye on for an experienced older head.
Paul Caddis – Utility
A good player with plenty of engine and professionalism; what he lacks in technical ability is more than made up for with his tremendous teamwork and reliability across a season.
Jem Karacan – CM
Max Clayton – Winger
Definitely a player you can trust to score and create at National League level for sure.
Dolly Menga – CF
He isn’t a finisher, though, so you probably want to pair him up with a striker who can put the ball in the net consistently. A grafter who can offer a fine solution as a versatile bench piece.
Josh Parker – CF
At 30 he might have a few years in him, and could definitely be someone to try and build around.
