Reiss Nelson is an English wonderkid who plays as a winger for Arsenal. He is yet to make his debut for the English national team but has represented them at every junior level.
Nelson is an academy graduate at Arsenal and has always said to have very high potential. He is yet to be a regular in the Arsenal set up and was loaned out to Hoffenheim in the 2018-2019 season. Reiss Nelson is one of the more promising wingers in the Arsenal team in FM21. His pace, dribbling, flair and technical ability make him an excellent unpredictable winger who will easily go past his man and a nightmare to mark in 1 on 1 situation. His versatility is also a big plus as he can play comfortably down both wings.
Nelson’s career in the autosave has been bizarre. After failing to make the cut at Arsenal, Nelson has gone on a couple of successful loan spells and then signed for Lyon. After 1 season at Lyon, he has moved to Man City where he has failed to make a single league appearance before another failed move at Monaco.
Finally, he has settled at Bournemouth where he has established himself as a star player at the club. His performances have also improved and he gives contributions in front of goal far more regularly. There is no doubt that limited playing time early on in his career has affected his growth and not helped him improve as much as he could have under a human manager.
His average ratings whenever he has played have been quite good suggesting that he is a good player when used frequently. With Brexit playing an important role in the game, Nelson will be a handy addition to many squads especially for managers managing English clubs.
