Szoboszlai is the best Hungarian wonderkid in Football Manager 2021. He is very well rounded and will be a top player for most sides in future saves.

In the auto-generated career, he has remained with Salzburg for a couple of seasons before making the switch to Man Utd. His time at Man Utd has been rather underwhelming and he has been relegated to game time only from the bench most often. 

In the 2025-2026 season of the autosave, he has moved to Leicester which has given him a new lease of life and he now is a regular starter for the club. His performances have also gone up slightly and he now contributes a lot of goals and assists for the club. 

However, a human manager can very easily bring the best out of Szoboszlai and he will be a crucial player if and when used correctly. His average ratings have also been underwhelming in the autosave which goes to show that the AI has not used him effectively and as suggested he will shine under a better manager with more game time. He can be a good addition to most FM21 manager’s squads.
