Ampadu is one of the best Welsh FM21 wonderkids in the game. He is a very well rounded defender who does not have many weaknesses.
In the auto-generated save, Ampadu has struggled to ever break into the strong Chelsea squad and has been around the mill with several loans with mixed success. Eventually, in 2025, he has joined Bayer Leverkusen and currently is an important part of their setup. Playing in several clubs has no doubt had an adverse effect on his development and in 2030, he is nowhere near where he could be under a human manager.
His performances in the auto save have for the most part have been sub-par and his average ratings reflect this fact. Although his value in the transfer market is quite high, he can develop into a much better player under a human manager and can be a good addition to most sides, especially for managers taking care of English clubs.
