He has been named in several team’s of the year and has won the Premier League, La Liga, Europa League & Super cup, to name a few. He may be on the decline, but his stats are still really good, and he is still mentally amongst the best strikers in the game. He is also a superb team player and will be a superb addition to any FM2021 squad regardless of how strong it already is.

Ezequiel Garay - Defender (Centre)

The 33-year-old is currently a free agent after requesting a release from Valencia following a cruciate ligament injury early in 2020. Garay is a journeyman and has played in several leagues across the club, winning several team and personal accolades along the way. A strong defender who is extremely capable in the air, Garay will also contribute with crucial set-piece goals, and it is a no brainer that he will be an amazing addition to almost any squad. With some luck and good management, you can easily get a minimum of 2 good seasons from Garay, and he definitely is one of the best free agents after the winter update.

Sturridge has had a decorated career and was always a prolific goalscorer in his hay days. Still having decent stats in the game, Sturridge can fill into most squads and contribute with crucial goals. If one can manage his injuries and use his well, he will be an amazing addition who can score plenty of goals.

Alex Teixeira - AMC / AM (L), ST (C)

Any FM player looking to go for a solid backup keeper, under a strict budget, can definitely go for Subasic and he can do more than a decent job.
