Africa has produced some of the world's best players over the years. Many young talented players, also known as wonderkids in FM21, move to Europe in order to develop in one of the big leagues.
Scouting in Africa will lead you into numerous hidden gems, players like; Michael Essien, Yaya Touré and Mohamed Salah are only a few players who have made it into the big leagues.
Cheick Doucoure - RC Lens - DM
Doucouré plays for French Ligue 1 side RC Lens and his natural position is a Defensive Midfielder in support duty. He has been a key player for Lens since joining them in the 18/19 season. Cheick is an athletic player with outstanding physical attributes. You will have to pay around 20m Pounds if you are interested in recruiting him into your team.
Achraf Dari - Wydad Casablanca - DC
Although Dari has not been capped by the Morrocan senior national team yet, he has already shown a lot of potential playing for his club. Wydad AC are prepared to sell him for 14 million Pounds, and his wages will not be as expensive as some other wonderkids. Achraf is a great centre back with excellent tackling and jumping reach attributes with a lot of room for improvement before he hits his peak in FM21.

Brian Oddei - Sassuolo U20 - AMR
Brian Oddei's potential attracts teams worldwide, making the 17-year-old a harder player to recruit than you might think at first. You could obtain the young Ghanian service for around five million Pounds, but there is an option to loan him as well. The winger plays for Sassuolo, and his strengths as a player are his pace and flair, which he uses to beat his opponents easily.
Bongokuhle Hlongwane - Maritzburg United - ST
Hlongwane is a pacey striker that could come in very handy if you're managing a lower leagues team. He plays for Maritzburg United in South Africa's first division and is in the last year of contract with them, which means you could try and snap him for free in the first transfer window. If you want to make a buy at the start of your FM 2021 save, then Hlongwane will be available for most of the lower leagues sides as he will only cost 700k pounds and his wage demands are low, which means affordable for most.

Asanele Velebhayi - Cape Town Spurs - AM (C)
Asanele Velebhayi has the potential to develop into a great playmaker type of player with proper training, mentoring and the right amount of playing time, so loaning him out if you'll not be using him from the start is essential for his development. The 17 years old has excellent technical attributes, which help him excel in tight spaces in the midfield. He plays for Cape Town Spurs, and his price tag is around 600 thousand Pounds, but he as well is in the last year of his contract with the club.
Brahima Ouattara - RC Abidjan - AM
The 17-year-old Ivorian, Brahima Outtara, has been already getting a lot of attention from the top European teams. He plays for RC d'Abidjan in Ivory Coast, but it is only a matter of time before him moving into the big leagues. Ouattara technical and vision attributes make him stand out as an attacking midfielder. Ouattara is a great option for the lower division teams as well; he will cost less than 200 thousand Pounds to sign him, and he is in the last year with the club.
