On Thursday, Arsenal won their first game after four losses they suffered. And it would all be great if it wasn't the Europa League and one very sad team from Milan.
Sure, every win that comes is good for moral, and the one against Genaro Gattuso's men is no exception. But, Arsenal played poorly and could have easily conceded few goals themselves.
In fact, Arsenal is closing up on their worst season ever since Arsene Wenger took over the club.
Mathematically, Arsene's men are out of the Premier League title race, the Gunners are sixth and have lost four times in a row, leaving them a mammoth 33 points behind Manchester City.
Arsenal have already lost ten games this season, just one defeat shy of the most games they have ever lost in a whole season under Wenger's management, in the 2005-06 season.
So, with all done and said it's clear that Arsene and Arsenal should focus all of their remaining power to Europa League if they want any chance of playing Champions League football next term.
Arsenal vs Watford match preview and prdiction
Watford are coming to Emirates in reasonably good form. It has to be said that the visiting Hornets were just four points above the Premier League relegation zone when Javi Gracia took over in January, but such is their turnaround that victory in North London would leave them only six points shy of the Gunners.
Will good form alone be enough to take something out of this match with the Gunners? Well, it could, given the Arsenal poor form and absence of Hector Bellerin and Alexandre Lacazette who will miss out with knee injuries.
One swallow does not make summer. Sorry Arsenal fans, but win against one truly poor Italian side and their rookie manager is not enough for turning the tides around.
And after this fixture, I expect the 'Wenger out!' chants to start echoing even louder at the Arsenal's home.
