Middlesbrough, Madness, career, stories , part 1
Hello and welcome to Middlesbrough Career Stories

Everything went according to plan, the chairman would like me to develop players using the youth system which shouldn't be a problem. Then we move onto our assistant manager Steve Agnew he has set up a inta squad friendly which will let me find some first team players he is also going to send me a report of the team thus helping me decide, he is also going to take care of friendlies and team training for me. Then I met my backroom staff who cleared a few things up for me.
Injuries
Okay, I'll admit we have a few injuries to potential first team players this could be a problem.
Alex Baptiste 6-8 months with a broken leg
Rhys Williams 6-8 months with damaged achilles tendon
Damia 6-8 months with cruciate ligaments
Jordan Rhodes 6 weeks to 2 months with a strained ankle
Gaston Ramirez 8 weeks to 3 months with a thigh strain
Ritche de laet 4 weeks with a strained ankle
Okay so the squad report came in, my best player is Stewart Downing this boy has a lot of experience having spells at Aston Villa, Liverpool and West Ham, He's spent most of his time at Boro.
Season Expectations
So the objectives are
Reach the playoffs of the Sky Bet Championship
Reach the 4th round of the FA Cup
Reach the 3rd round of the Capital One Cup
Should be easy enough. This gives us a transfer budget of £1.4M and a wage budget of £431,460 p/w
Meeting The Players
It could have gone worse
Cameron Borthwick-Jackson on loan to Boro for £500 of his wages till end of the season
Juan Fuentes to move to Boro for £900k, the 25 year old will be a good addition to the team.
Harry Chapman to leave Boro and join Everton for £550k eventually rising to £1.4M also 40% of the next sale
The club are aiming at selling 11,700 season tickets this season
