Two of the most ludicrously overlooked stats in FM games are Technique and Flair. This guy has got them in abundance.
Two of the most ludicrously overlooked stats in FM games are Technique and Flair. We all know that matches are often decided by a single moment of brilliance, so it's strange that attributes such as Finishing always seem to take precedent when it comes to finding someone who can turn a game on its head.
If you need a cool head in the midfield who can perhaps produce something out of ordinary, may I recommend Real Sociedad's Xabi Prieto?
He may be old, and he may lack speed, but my word this fella can play. He has a Technique rating of 19, couple that with stats like 17 for Flair and 18 for Dribbling, and you have a magician on your hands.
A good signing for most top division clubs, he's best employed just behind a lone striker; where he'll find pockets of space and poke balls through the opposition defence. Of course, as the season rolls on, he will tire, and you'll need to look after his fitness but, given how often he creates chances, it's problem worth taking on.
P.S. If you need a good penalty taker, he's got a perfect 20.
