James Ward-Prowse - FM 2014 Wonderkid Review
Southampton has a great development system and FM 2014 wonderkid James Ward-Prowes is yet another great product of it.
But are the comparisons with legendary Gascoigne a bit over the top? Well, to say honestly, NO they are not!
James has solid starting attributes, a good foundation to work with. Equally good Technically, Mentally and Physically, this young lad would be a decent signing for any Premiership team right at the start of the game.
But once he develops and reaches his full potential, this lad becomes a midfield beast!
A true expert at Free Kick Taking and your best pick to take the corners. Also his Determination and Work Rate suggest that he can develop quite nicely if trained well and given a fair share of first team football.
His strongest area of the game is Team Work, whilst specific aspect would be Work Rate. On the other hand, his weakest area of game, according to our scout, would be Positioning and specific aspect would be Marking.
Although his Aerial Ability and Jump Reach should concern you more.
If you’re thinking of buying James in Football Manager 2014, than you’re in luck, considering you have £17M to spend.
But that’s the price if you’d like to bring the new Paul Gascoigne immediately to your team.
If you wait for 3-4 seasons, his price drops significantly, and you’d be able to snatch him for ‘only’ £6M or somewhere in that price range.
