Nathan Patterson

Based on my experiences of him in FM22, he can also successfully be retrained as a left back or as a right midfielder, giving him a versatility that could be crucial during the festive fixture pileups.

Elliot Anderson

Born in England but eligible for Scotland is a real gem of Newcastle’s academy. With 7 first team appearances on Tyneside already, Anderson is a right footed midfielder, with the flair to be a real spark in your attack. His stamina is also impressive, and covers every blade of grass for your side. Coming off the back of an impressive loan with Bristol Rovers - where he scored 8 goals and racked up 5 assists in 21 appearances - Anderson is ready to make the next step in his development, and could be a real star for a premier league club on FM23.

Ben Doak

If you haven’t seen any of this young man’s highlights for Liverpool’s youth teams, go and do it. Right now. Doak’s technical ability is plain for all to see, as is his eye for goal: he’s got 6 goals in 11 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool u18s. Internationally he also has two u21 caps for Scotland, despite being only 16 years old. Liverpool have high hopes for Ben, but with the wealth of talent coming from their academy you just might be able to lure him away with the promise of first team football.

Owen Moffat

Starting FM23 at Blackpool, Moffat is a Celtic academy graduate with incredible upside. With pace, off the ball, finishing and crossing far beyond his years, Owen Moffat could be the advanced forward of your dreams if his potential is realised. He’s also a skilled inside forward from the left, moving in on his favoured right foot to terrorise defences. You’ll want to snap him up before someone else realises what a gem Blackpool have on their hands.
