How to install the FM24 Facepack
This section covers a clean install from download to in-game.
1) Extract the files
The download arrives as a .rar archive. Use extraction software to unpack it:
- Windows - WinRAR (.exe installer).
- macOS - The Unarchiver.
Create a temporary folder, place the archive inside it, then extract - you will get a facepack folder.
2) Locate your User Data Location
Launch FM24 once so the game creates the folders, then close it. Move the extracted folder to your User Data Location:

C:\Users\\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics
macOS path
Users//Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/graphics
macOS note - Library is hidden. In Finder, open the Go menu, hold Alt and click Library, then go to Application Support - Sports Interactive - Football Manager 2024.
If a graphics folder does not exist, create one. You can place the facepack either directly inside graphics or in a subfolder like graphics/faces.
3) Load graphics in-game
- Open Preferences.
- Click the Advanced tab and choose Interface from the dropdown.
- Bottom left - open the Reset menu and click Clear Cache.
- Disable 'Use caching to decrease page loading times'.
- Enable 'Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences'.
- Click Reload Skin.

Once everything loads correctly and you do not plan to add more custom graphics, you can re-enable caching and untick the auto reload option.
