Alberto Cerri - Review
Parma is well known as a factory of quality players such as Fabio Cannavaro, Lillian Thuram, Adriano etc.
When you first see Alberto’s attributes you got to go and think to yourself that this lad has no chance in world of becoming a World Class target man, but you couldn't be more wrong. This lad develops into Italy's next Luca Toni, but with Del Piero’s talent of taking Free Kicks (19), and Penalties (20).
Normally, he won’t be a signing that will make an immediate impact to your squad, and our scouts are off the opinion that he would be a decent signing for most Sky Bet Championship sides at best. So it’s bet to leave him for a few seasons at Parma, or to send him on a loan if you do decide to sign him at the start of the game.
In our save, he performed expectantly great at Parma for 4 seasons, and was later on bought by Sampdoria, and earned a Serie A top goalscorer award. Which didn’t passed unnoticed and earned him a transfer to Barcelona, where he instantly made a huge impact.
His estimated cost at the start of the game is somewhere between £700K to £900K at most. But as we said, it’s best to leave him develop at Parma for few season, and then swoop him for still a bargain price of £5M or less.
We highly recommend Alberto, as he strikes us to be one of the most promising target man strikers in Football Manager 2014.
