About the club
Paris Saint-Germain or simply PSG are a professional football club that ply their trade in Ligue 1. The club was founded in 1970 and most of their success has come after 2000. They are the most successful club in France with 9 Ligue 1 titles, a record 14 Coupe De France (French Cup) & a record 9 Coupe De la Ligue (French League Cup).
Since the take-over from the State of Qatar, PSG have become the richest club
in France and one of the
richest clubs in the world. They have the 7th highest revenue of all football clubs in the world. They
are also one of the most supported clubs in the world with a sudden burst of
increased fanbase after the transfer of Messi.
Although PSG are overwhelming favourites for the Ligue 1 title, they lost out to Lille in the 2020-2021 season and finished only 2nd. For the 2021-2022 season PSG as always are favourites for the Ligue 1 title and are also one of the favourites to win the UCL despite never having done so previously.

You will additionally be required to play attacking football, sign high reputation players. The board will also be quite strict about achieving the targets.
PSG have excellent training facilities and an excellent youth system which will churn out potential stars almost every season. You will need to keep these at the highest level every season.

Marco Veratti & Georginio Wijnaldum as the 2 central midfielders, with the former playing as a deep playmaker and the latter as a box to box midfielder.
Angel Di Maria & Neymar as the 2 wingers. Both can be used as inverted wingers who stay quite narrow in attacks.
Lionel Messi as an attacking midfielder in a 10 role, just behind the striker.
Kylian Mbappe as the lone striker in an Advanced Forward role.
The bench is also relatively strong and versatile so a formation change is not very hard to accomodate with PSG.

Youth Prospects
There are a few exciting young prospects in the ranks who have the
potential to be some of the best players in the league. A few examples
are,
Pembele can be a long term addition to PSG defence. If
nurtured correctly, Pembele can develop into an elite defender who can be
a regular for the club.
Mendes is currently on loan at PSG who have the option to make it
permanent at the end of the loan. Currently one of the best wonderkid
fullbacks in the game, Mendes can be the best in his position in the
future.

· There is a lack of quality in the squad depth, especially in defence.
· The squad isn’t the strongest physically and can be bullied by physically intimidating teams.
· This is a star-studded squad and it is not easy to keep everyone satisfied with game time.
