Notts County - Vanarama National League
Founded in 1862, Notts County are a professional football club currently playing in the Vanarama National League. The club from Nottingham are the oldest professional club in the world, playing on a 19k all-seater stadium Meadow Lane. Notts County have a cherished history and are renowned across the world as one of the 1st professional football teams. They are nicknamed the "Magpies" due to the black and white colour of their home strip, which inspired Italian club Juventus to adopt the colours for their kit in 1903.
The club enjoyed probably their best spell of success during the 1890s. Although now enduring a nine year barren spell, having not won a competition since 2010, The Magpies still have a history of which they can be justly proud.
