YouTube video creator DaveAzzopardi has taken upon himself to find out how the return of the legendary winger might look in the next three seasons if he decides to leave Real Madrid this summer and return to Man United.
Starting this experiment on July 1st, 2017, Ronaldo is now aged 32.
First season 17/18
Solid first season, 32 goals in 53 games. 36 games in the Premier League, just missing two league games, with a tally of 25 goals and five assists with an average rating of 7.54.
Another seven goals in the Champions League and 13 for Portugal in World Cup qualifying.
He played a majority games actually as a left midfielder (winger).
United finished second in the league missing out on Arsenal and also reached the finals of the Champions League, beating Ronaldo's former club Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate, with Ronaldo even scoring in the second leg at Old Trafford, but losing out in the end against Bayern 3-1 after being 1-0 ahead.
Overall, United have improved their performance from last season and worth mentioning that Ronaldo got promoted to club captain.
Second season 18/19
Ronaldo now 34 years is still at United, and his attributes still look impressive with few stats like pace going down a point, but still, he managed to score 24 goals in this season.
37 games in Premier League, so just missing one league game. He managed to score less than in the first season, 'only' 19 goals and again five assists, but managed to get higher average rating than the previous year, 7.80 compared to 7.54.
Adding four goals with seven assist and impressive 7.93 Average rating from 12 games in the Champions League.
Again playing the majority of time on the left wing, with few games on the right side and in the striker position for Portugal.
United finished again in the second place, this time behind the rivals City by one point, dropping points in the last game against Burnley. Mourinho still in charge of the team and Ronaldo still the captain.
United managed to reach their second consecutive final of the Champions League and lost again, this time to Arsenal 3-0.
Overall a solid season but no silverware for the legendary Portuguese.
Third season 19/20
Now 35 years old, Ronaldo's stats still look pretty impressive, his physical stats gradually going down.
38 games in the Premier League, not missing a single game this term and scoring one less goal than the previous year with the same number of assists, but again averaging impressive 7.80.
Six goals out of 8 games in the Champions League, they've been knocked out in the first knockout round to Monaco as they got smashed at Old Trafford 0-3.
For the third consecutive season, United finished second in the league, this time just five points behind Chelsea.
Individual awards
Lots of team of the week awards, best player runner-up at the World Cup.
Also worth mentioning is that United didn't win any cup titles during this time, so no silverware for the Portuguese legend.
