This time around I would like to stir up your imagination even further, I will name a list of my Top 6 Brothers in Football Manager.

Try them out together and see where the magic in football lies! When fielded together, they promise to deliver the goods, and could make your save quite exciting to play.

The main motivation behind this blog stems from my entertaining experience of signing Lars and Sven Bender for my Liverpool F.C. team. When fielding them in the midfield together, magic surely happens!

My choices for the Top 6 Brothers are based on two aspects:

1. How realistic is it to sign these brothers together? 
2. Will the brothers serve as important players for your team, for three seasons or more?

I will list the estimated costs, best clubs to suit their skills, the positions they play and a small description of what I believe they could add to any team.

1. Sven & Lars Bender

Recommended Club(s): Liverpool, Dortmund, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Arsenal, or any club who prefers a more defensive but hardworking midfield.

Recommended Positions:

• Sven - Central Midfielder (Ball Winning Midfielder)
• Lars - Defensive Midfielder

Estimated Cost:

• Sven - $18.0M
• Lars - $25.0M

With tremendous attributes in tackling, teamwork, work rate and stamina, both players promise to excite all over the pitch in the midfield.

Using Lars as a defensive midfielder and Sven as a ball winning midfielder, your back four will always look world class!

Attacking players will have enough possession throughout the match to create many goal scoring opportunities.

2. Fabio & Rafael da Silva

Recommended Club(s): Any Portuguese Primier Division Club, English Championship Teams or Vasco Da Gama (Brazil), Boca Juniors (Argentina), or Olympique Lyonnais.

Recommended Positions:

• Fabio - Wing Back (Left, Right)
• Rafael - Wing Back (Right)

Estimated Cost:

• Fabio - $8M
• Rafael - $12M

Both players are exactly what you are looking for in your Wing Backs. Their high attributes in work rate, tackling and quickness will make sure to be a handful for opposition teams.

They should cause trouble on both flanks, while working hard up and down the pitch for a full 90 minutes.

Rafael and Fabio have tons of potential which you only need to unlock! I rate them quite high on football manager.

3. Jonathan & Giovani Dos Santos

Recommended Club(s): Any Mexican Premier League Clubs, Spanish Clubs or Juventus, Porto, Roma.

Recommended Positions:

• Jonathan - Midfielder (Advance Playmaker)
• Giovani - Striker (False Nine or Trequartista)

Estimated Cost:

• Jonathan - $15.0M
• Giovani - $7M

Although Giovani is able to play at a higher level than Jonathan, I believe linking these two in your attack will give your team quite a few sparks.

Being easy targets on the transfer markets, I believe you won't regret going for them in your second season!

They show great understanding among each other and provide a special kind of threat to the opposition.

Jonathan will show great improvements when fielded in front of his brother, and when sent for the correct individual training. I foresee at least 30 goals between them in one season!

4. Jerome & Kevin-Prince Boateng

Recommended Club(s): Any German Clubs, English Premier League Clubs or Ligue 1 Clubs.

Recommended Positions:

• Jerome - Center Back (Ball Playing Defender)
• Kevin-Prince - Central Midfielder (Roaming Playmaker) or Attacking Midfielder

Estimated Cost:

• Jerome - $45M
• Kevin-Prince - $15M

These two are placed at number four, not because they have less potential, but because of their high cost.

Boateng brothers will add something different to your squad if you can manage to scrape together all of your budget, but they would most certainly not be a waste.

Also, they will provide your club with one leader in the defensive department, as well as one leader in the attacking department!

The only downfall could be Kevin-Prince's injury proneness on FM 16. This could lead to a few weeks on the sidelines, but not so much that it would not be worth it at the end of three solid seasons.

5. Rafinha &  Thiago Alcantara

Recommended Club(s): Bayern Munich, Manchester United or Barcelona

Recommended Positions:

• Rafinha - Right Wing (Inside Forward)
• Thiago - Midfielder (Advance Playmaker)

Estimated Cost:

• Rafinha - $40M
• Thiago - $35M

Both these players will develop into world class players if managed correctly!

They display great potential that can be unlocked if provided with much needed game time and good individual training routines.

What I simply love about this combination is the possibility for an out of the ordinary link up in the midfield!

Their creativeness and passing at this young age promises more than 20 assists a season, and they definitely have more than 5 seasons of play left in them.

6. Eden & Thorgan Hazard

Recommended Club(s): Any Top Belgium Club or Chelsea, Hamburger SV, Schalke, or Bayern Munich

Recommended Positions:

• Eden - Left Wing (Inside Forward)
• Thorgan - Advanced Playmaker

Estimated Cost:

• Eden - $60M
• Thorgan - $16M

Since Eden Hazard is already at Chelsea, it will be easier and more cost effective if you just keep him, and only add his brother for a small fee.

Their cost is a slight problem, although these two potential world class players offer some exciting features!

 They have quite a lot of versatility among them and some element of surprise when both of them join an attacking move.

You could field them either in their natural positions, or change it up and field them anywhere else in the midfield. Both will deliver the goods every time.
