Some possible new FM23 features got leaked on Twitter, and one Reddit user
made snapshots of them.
Reddit user moondiggerman got a snapshot of new features from the early dev copy that was leaked briefly on Twitter. We share in full what he wrote on the Reddit board.
But before you read this, take them with a pinch of salt, as there is no way to double-check these. Also, the official developer of the game, Neil Brock, replied to this Reddit thread; "And this, ladies and gentlemen, is another reason why you shouldn't believe everything you read on the Internet." Nonetheless, these are some exciting additions to the game that most of us would like to see included in Football Manager 2023.
Players' characteristics are more fleshed out in scout reports. Gives an indication of how well they will fit into your team.
Required a separate launcher. Not clear if that was just for the dev copy or will be required in the full game. Woman's football has been introduced, but only for international teams and tournaments. I believe this is an optional download and seen as a soft launch test for full integration next year.

Revamps to Scouting in FM23

Woman's football (beta) international only.

New team instruction: Wind up opposition.
Next to get stuck in and time waste was 'wind up opposition team' pretty
self-explanatory.
Verbal transfer agreements.
Teams can make a verbal, non-binding transfer for a player between windows.
Not quite sure what happens when the window then opens, though.
Players/agents will approach you if another team has made an offer for them, but they would rather play for you. Eg. "Tottenham have accepted a £30m bid for my player X from Brighton, but you are his preferred choice. Would you be willing to match that bid?"
There was also a still of the match engine and how that's been improved, but I genuinely couldn't see any difference on the screenshot to the current FM22 one.
That's all I got, but I'm sure there will be more leaks, moondiggerman wrote.

Conclusion
As we said earlier, there is no way for us to check the veracity of what is written, by this Reddit user, but at least we can fantasize a little about what it will be like to lead a women's team on FM, or how we will soon be able to wind up opponents. Of course, as soon as official announcements about new features come out, we will inform you on our blog and social media.
