This Football Manager tutorial will come in handy to all of you who want to run your game with a large database and more than three leagues, but lack at process power with your machine.
So, to get your game running faster I want you to start your game and:
- Go to Preferences
- Then, go to Interface tab
- In the General window, change Rendering Mode
- By default it should be set to GPU Assisted, change that to Software
- Once you change this, click on Confirm and you are done

Also, if you have any customised add-ons, like player profile pictures or club logos, you should set your Skin settings just like this: ( this is also located in the Interface tab ).

After you've done these two things, we're off to the serious part, The FM Speeder. This tool made by Stewiefool was made for one sole purpose, to warp speed processing of your Football Manager game.
It was made back in 2006, but it works fine with every version of Football Manager so far. Have no worries; the program won't cause any crash dumps or anything of that sort.
It comes with three speeds: Normal (the upper left button), 10x faster (the upper right button) and 50x faster (the large button at the bottom, or so called Walter White’s Meth).
It’s only 3MB of size, and it’s a .exe file, so no need for installation. You fire it up and let it do its work.
It’s quite simple to run FM Speeder, as it is an .exe file so there is no need for installation. All you have to do is:
- Run Football Manager
- Run FM Speeder
- Chose your speed
As mentioned above, you’ll have to let this program run simultaneously with your game. If you don’t want your match to be finished in mere seconds, set it to normal speed and enjoy your match.
