So it's 4 days before the season opener against Burnley in my Leeds save, and Lewis Cook has just told me he wants to leave for a bigger club. I've had no offers or interest in him whatsoever, yet he wants to leave. Normally I cave in to players like this, I'll transfer list them to keep them happy, but won't make any real effort to offload them, but I was so angry (at a game believe it or not) that I told him as there was no interest it was pointless to even talk about it. To which he replied wasn't good enough. My blood is boiling now. He gets an assertive response, you're going nowhere, and you can expect to be training with the reserves for a while because of your unprofessionalism. I instantly regret it, what if I get a backlash from the whole squad? Luckily I don't, and 7 first teamers actually side with me, saying they're happy with the way I handled it. The only player who sides with Lewis is his young midfield partner Alex Mowatt, well guess what Alex, you aren't getting a game against Burnley either. I hate when players think they're bigger than a club, in real life and virtually, you're paid to play for this team, and if he doesn't want to be part of this team come the second round of fixtures he'll be getting a warning, and then a fine. My level of discipline is quite low according to my profile, but that's only to use the points for something more worthwhile.
Mess with me at your peril
