Top 3 Worst and Best Premier League Managers so far

We are lucky to be witnessing one of the most exciting Premier League seasons ever. Each passing week we have a new league leader and the top 4 clubs are only three points apart.

This season of Premier League has passed all experts expectations regarding the competitiveness and the quality of football so far presented. New manager faces such as Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola have brought a fresh and exciting change to the league with their approach to tactics, which don't fit the classic "run 'n gun" English style of football.

With almost third of the games played, we'll take a look of the top 3 worst and best managers so far. We'll start of with the "worst" category first.

#3 Slaven Bilic (West Ham)

Slaven Bilic is a good manager no doubt about it, as he did achieve the best ever position with the Hammers last season in the Prem. But this year around his team is performing below every expectation. Reasons to this could be found in the move to the new stadium, constant injuries, new signings adapting really slowly and some first-team players violating club's conducts with late night excursions at pubs and spending their time at bestbonusescasinos.co.uk. However, with his switch to 3-4-3 system he's finding new fortunes and we can expect them to slowly move up the table.

#2 Caludio Ranieri (Leicester City)

It might seem a bit harsh to criticize the Italian who achieved the impossible with Leicester City last season by winning the league against all odds. But the Foxes are sitting in 14th position only two points ahead of the relegation zone. Their performances in the Champions League are a huge plus, but if the Italian doesn't shake the things up in the dressing room they might get sucked into unlikely relegation battle in the Premier League.

#1 Jose Mourinho (Manchester United)

"The Special One" has spent heavily in this summer transfer window, splashing over €105 million for Paul Pogba and breaking the highest transfer fee ever paid for a player. Yet with Pogba, as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic at his disposal, Mourinho hasn't turned the fortunes at Old Trafford. The team is creating more chances than previous seasons, but they still haven't clicked. Anything from a top-four finish will be labelled as failure.

Now let's see which managers have impressed us so far, these are the "best" managers in the Premier League so far.

#3 Pep Guardiola (Manchester City)

The arrival of the Spaniard from Bayern has definitely lifted the standard of the league. Even thou Manchester City are still work in progress, Guardiola managed to have more than an impressive start to his campaign. He made an instant impression on team's style of play, as well as changed the culture and diet plans at City. It seemed at the start that they would stroll through the competition, but it's good for the neutrals that this still is, a work in progress.

#2 Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool)

This could easily be Liverpool's season. The German is the most charismatic and impressive manager currently in the league. He has a firm grip on his players and the style the team plays. Mouth-watering attacking football has promoted the Reds as the genuine title-contenders. If he can keep his players fit and injury free, Liverpool will have a real chance to finally win the league.

#1 Antonio Conte (Chelsea)

Professional and a no-nonsense approach was needed to transform the all troubled Chelsea team from last season. No-one could have predicted that Chelsea will return to top four after last season, let alone to top the Premier League once again, but the Italian mastermind did just this in as little time he has been at the helm of the Blues. Switching tactical style to 3-4-3 has sent Chelsea top of the league, with six wins and six clean sheets. Laying off some dead-wood and bringing in some fresh faces in the January transfer window Chelsea might just go all the way, time will tell.
