This year Valentine's day brings us one of the best Super Sunday fixtures list in a long time. Top four clubs will go head to head in hopes of garbing a win and getting the top position on the table. We are lucky to have the opportunity of watching one of the most remarkable finishes to a top-flight in English football history.
Manchester City vs Tottenham
Last time these two met was at the White Hart Lane stadium in London, where surprisingly Tottenham demolished then current league leader City by 4 goals to 1. It was a result few expected, because Manuel Pellegrini's side looked like a real title contenders at the moment. However, likes of Kane and Lalana stormed through City like no one did before them this season.
City will definitely look to avenge their last game against Spurs but it won't be an easy task. City are coming from a hard defeat from the current league leaders Leicester, where they lost 3-1 on their home ground and even more shattered their dreams of winning this years BPL, and they still might be reeling from that loss. On the other hand, Tottenham are buzzing with confidence as they find themselves in 6 match winning streak across all competitions.
Best bet here would be not to play on win for home or away side, but on both teams to score. Here is an explanation on both teams to score tips so you can judge it yourself. Same as it was in the first match, I expect both teams to give all they have in this one, lots of action and counter attacking football that will bring lots of goals.
Arsenal vs Leicester
Leicester travel to Arsenal and the leaders haven't been cowed on any of their visits to the Premier League elite this season, so should come away with a point. That's the short version.
Leicester are living the dream, for the first time in their history they have been made favourites by the bookies to win the league. They don't have the sheiks money or big names in their squad, but what they have is heart. Ranieri often stated that the team plays each game with no pressure and that's why they are so good. Also the in-form Vardy and Mahrez have been pivotal to The Foxes success this year. If these two can produce their current form on Sunday I can see them even surprise Arsenal and grab all three points.
Arsenal, on the other hand are having a deja vu season once again. They started strong, many claimed they are finally ready to go all the way and win the league, and now 13 matches before season ends they find themselves in a familiar place. If they don't get out on Sunday with their A-game I can see them out of the Champions League places race. One good thing for Arsenal is the return of the magnificent Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez.
My prediction for this match is a draw. I don't see The Foxes losing to Arsenal on Emirates Stadium, and maybe with a little bit of luck they might just grab all three points from The Gunners.
