We're heading to week 22 of the English top flight after what was a dramatic weekend where both clubs from Manchester drop points to their opponents...
Chelsea are in the lead with two points advantage ahead of Manchester City, after their scrappy win over Newcastle in their last game and City's draw away at Everton.
Jose Mourinh's side were more than desperate to get back on their winning ways after they suffer a surprise loss at the hands of the Tottenham Hotspur. And in the next set of fixtures, they will hope City concede more ground as the Sky Blues entertain an improving Arsenal side at the Etihad.
Here are predictions for Week 22's most interesting matches in our opinion.
Manchester City vs. Arsenal
Arsenal are the happier team coming into this match, as they shown some great football in their relentless 3-0 demolishing of Stoke in their last match, but the challenge that is current Premier League champion is something entirely different.
Manuel Pellegrini's side haven't dropped points in successive matches since their three-game winless streak in August/September, and are the favourites in the upcoming fixture, with their chances for a home win standing at 3/4 according to vernons.
Good news for Arsenal team is the return from injury of German playmaker Mesut Ozil and in the back of Laurent Koscielny, who might just be main factors to surprise the Manchester team and win points once again from their last triumph that happened four years ago.
On the other hand, major factor in this match will be the return of Sergio Aguero. The Argentinian made his return as a substitute against the Toffes, but Pellegrini will surely be in no rush to play his talisman in the starting eleven.
Biggest advantage is perhaps in the midfield of the pitch, where City's Yaya Toure and James Milner will look to outshine the likes of Aron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini.
PREDICTION: Manchester City 2-1 Arsenal
QPR vs. Manchester United
Luis van Gal's side saw their first defeat in 11 matches lossless streak against Southampton on Sunday, but their next fixture and a visit to Loftus Road offer Man Utd's side a simpler task of returning to their winning ways. That said, it also has to be mentioned that it was the Hoops who provided the Red Devils gaffer his first Premier League win last September, when they won 4-0 at Old Trafford.
Man Utd's home form has been sparkling in the build-up to last weekend's defeat at the hands of Saints. But Red Devils haven't won away game since early December!
On the other hand, QPR, are on a four-game losing streak in league competition and have managed to score only one goal in their last three home fixtures across all campaigns. This Saturday, Harry's men will have to be at their best in defence in a fixture where Rio Ferdinand could feature against his former club.
Redknapp can take comfort in knowing the 2-1 win at St. Mary's was also the last away league fixture in which United managed to score more than one goal, but the Red Devils should bounce back in this fixture.
PREDICTION: QPR 0-1 Manchester United
