Football Manager 2014 feature roulette continues once again. And as always, we’re bringing you the round-up of all new features released for FM14.
As we said in previous posts, but for anyone who missed them, feature roulette is set by Sports Interactive via their twitter account, where their followers randomly pick a number from 1-1000, and and they’ll pick one & tease the corresponding feature.
FM14 Features (22.8.2013)
'Where Are They Now' button available on transfer history screen.
Not as big or important feature as some others already released, but it’s a nice addition to all the nostalgic players of the game. Makes long term games far more interesting when you can see where your old youth players ended up.
Hyperlinks to division names in season summary.
Really not an important feature, but still, it is a feature nevertheless. Let’s move on.
Make players available for youth squads, as well as reserves.
Best smaller feature yet. Useful to put better youngsters into youth cup games whilst still training as seniors. This for sure will increase a development of your youth players in the club.
Leak interest in vacant position to press.
Interesting feature, will spice up your manager life in the game. How will this work in practice, we’ll have to wait and see.
Transfer budget takes all clauses and bonuses into account.
Nice little feature, good to have all things at one place.
Improved explanation of how Director of Football works in FM and FMC.
Not sure how this got in the features category, but it’s nice to finally get a clear explanation of duties and role of DOF in FM as well as in FMC. Can’t say they we’re all that clear in FM13.
