Time for another German Wonderkid in our daily reviews, and this time it’s Julian Draxler from Schalke. Still a teenager, but a potential World Class player in the future. Let’s see how does he develop.
First we’ll check his starting ability in FM13
As we said, he’s only 18 years old and already he has some impressive attributes at the start of the game. Attributes that are highlighted on the picture are most needed for the role of Inside Forward in a support duty. He has excellent Technical attributes and fairly good Physical, but the ones that need working on - are his Mental attributes. But nevertheless, overall he is truly a potential World Class player.
Scout report from Pantaleo Corvino from Barcelona:
One of the best scouts in the game Pantaleo, highly recommends this kid. It’s not really a surprising fact, when you see how great his attributes are at such young age. Judging by his Current Ability, he would be considered a good signing for most teams. But his Potential Ability, tells us that this young prospect could become a leading winger in the future.
Estimated Cost – £21.5M - £25.5M
Wage Demands - £195K p/m - £250K p/m

Player development in 8 years:
Judging by the picture we could conclude that Draxler didn’t become a World Class winger as we expected. But once again we must say that players developed by AI manager, don’t develop good as the ones managed by real players. If you ever had him in your game, leave a picture in the comments below, so other FM players could really see the difference in development when managed by AI manager and a real person.
Career Stats and Injuries History through 8years:
Solid career stats tell us that Julian can both score and assist his team mates, although his main weakness is that he is not a team player. A consistent performer with an Average Rating around 7.00 is fairly good if you ask us.
Regarding his injury history, we can see that he is not injury prone. Only three injuries in his career, and two of them in year 2020.
Our verdict on Julian Draxler:
We have to say we expected a little bit more from Julian. Main flow of this player, from our perspective, is his transfer value. Giving up £21M or more at the start of the game for such young player is truly a great risk. But regarding his attributes, we can only conclude that if you do transfer him to your team, you wont feel sorry. OUR RATING:
